Get Ready for Battle!

Anyone remember that slogan?

Can't wait for this event and neither
can my son and his friends.

Can you buy tickets at the RAC the day of the games ?Also what will be the charge for parking ?

Sounds like some of the games will be covered on NBA TV again.

Only one I see on the schedule now is:

December 29 at 3:30 PM

Hudson Catholic (NJ) vs. Patrick School (NJ)

High School Basketball on NBA TV ¦ Hudson Catholic (NJ) vs. Patrick School (NJ)

Nice first half from Somerville.

I think he had 17 points on 8 of 10 shooting and 2 of 2 from 3.

He’s like the opposite of Cliff. Not a bouncy athlete but great touch offensively for a big guy.
He seems decent defensively too. He plays like Danja from Illinois who I like a lot.

Nice shooting form and touch, willing passer, moves well. Not explosive but definitely is offensively gifted.

He reminds me of a more mobile Zed Key (pre-25-pound weight loss) except with an outside shot.
I’ll take either type of player. Ace and Dylan took all the buzz, but he looks like a damn good get. Cliff is great, but having a more complete big man will be nice.

Its some nice matchups on this card. Interested in the Ace vs Billy Richmond matchup later today

Sommerville has been taught basketball from a guard perspective at a young age, so any comparison to Cliff, starts and ends there.....they are completely different players.

If anything Sommerville is probably a Myles Johnson type of player, just without the shot blocking aspect and a full arsenal of offense. Spacing and pick and pops and passing will expand this offense to a fully capable movement and flow.

It’s going to be really interesting having a big guy who confidently shoots threes and makes them at a respectable percentage. Teams will have to guard Lathan out there. Which of course creates driving lanes.
