The Most Successful NJ Recruits Have Stayed In NJ and Played for RU

Yes here is the point to be made Rutgers does a better job of developing talent then osu as stated about "Ohio State has 34 draft picks over that time frame to 19 from Rutgers"
Over the same time period osu had 70 4 -5 star recruits while Rutgers had 14 4-5 star recruits so that means that osu should have had 5 TIMES as many players draft picks and they only had 1.8 TIMES as many pro picks that is shameful. And it mean Rutgers does more with less. We coach kid up to Pro potential osu just uses and abuses i.e. does not coach the player up to their potential.
Great Numbers Nosoj
U prove the point "Rutgers can get more lesser talent into the Pros."
I'm gonna quote myself here. I'll highlight the relevant portion to your post.
Those numbers, that Rutgers has had more New Jersey kids drafted than the rest of the conference combined, don't mean anything. Yes, if you're an NFL talent, Rutgers can and will get you to the league.

But, if you're a New Jersey recruit and I'm the Ohio State coach recruiting you, bring that up to me and you know what I say? So what. Ohio State had 1 recruit from that time frame from New Jersey and he went in the first round. Ohio State has 34 draft picks over that time frame to 19 from Rutgers. You want to have the best opportunity to make the NFL, come to Ohio State.

Now, that doesn't really mean anything either. Ohio State has had more talent over that time frame that Rutgers, and if you're an NFL player, they'll find you at Rutgers or Ohio State (or Northwestern, Purdue, any Big Ten program) without too much trouble. But it's sales. So you spin the facts to put the best foot forward for your program. Which is all this is.
And it's all your doing as well. Spinning the facts to put Rutgers in the best light. Because watch this...Ohio State put 47% more people in the league over that time frame. Did they have 47% more players? No...so Ohio State is better at developing talent. And round and round we can go.

But the secret is right up there in the first red line I quoted in my post. None of this matters in the slightest. It's not going to get any recruits to commit and, in the end, as a fan I'd rather have this than a bunch of draft picks to brag about on a message board.
