well since they are part of the bottom 4, its an easier matchup than most Big 10 schools...first time RU got down double digits out of the gate but clawed back to tie it but they played from behind the whole game as Minny kept a 4-8 point advantage in the 2nd half. Minny puts pressure on the ball which turns teams over and that is not good for RU so in that way not a good matchup as RU tends to wilt against these type of teams. On the other hand Minny is not known for their defense in half court so like you saw last time, RU will be able to score but since scoring is not our strength and Minny figures to knock down a lot of threes its going to be tough to outscore them. Going to need a really off night from Minny to win this one and an effort we have not seen from RU since at Indiana

The key of course is stopping Hollins who went for a career high (seems everyone has their career high against us) 31 in the first meeting. Minny does make you turn it over though but are very lax at rebounding. RU 70-68. Bring on Ohio State.

I've been a big critic of Jordan and the team this year, but for some reason I feel we win.

As someone else said, we've done pretty well in conference "play-in" games..and Minnesota isn't a world-beater.
