I am in the "Sky is Falling" camp for Maryland. Last 9 games the defense numbers are lousy....bordering on jordanesque. last 2 89 PA 73 possessions (vs. Min) AND 83 PA in 65 (vs. Iowa).

Could be the Rutgers offense is just what Maryland needs.

Shooting always the key...moving past that RU offensive rebounding. MD is 279th in DREB. Rutgers has been pedestrian on the offensive glass in the last 5. Will RU get 40% of their own misses? Would RU make MD pay if they go zone by destroying them on the offensive glass?

That isn't necessarily a negative for us. An extra bit of energy can be balanced at the possibility of being tight. A disappointing loss to Michigan state could be an advantage for us, ever so slight.
