THE OFFICIAL RUTGERS-NEBRASKA PREDICTION THREAD

For weeks I have been saying we'd beat them.

We are playing un-inspirational football.

Neb 31
RU 24

Where the hell you guys think we are finding 20+ points in this game I have no idea. We have scored how many offensive TDs in the last 3 games?

Without Carroo:

Nebraska - 37
Rutgers - 3

With Carroo:

Nebraska - 35
Rutgers - 10

Not going to predict a score but after this weekend with Nebraska pulling the upset over MSU and our deflating loss in Ann Arbor I don't have any indication that Rutgers will be able to win, let alone even compete. Looking at the real time stats on the Michigan scoreboard it was pretty depressing to see that we didn't have positive passing yardage until well into the second quarter.

Nebraska 44 RUTGERS 19 in front of an announced crowd of 49,803 but actual 41,017

We have no idea how to stop a spread-like offense and our offense can't put up points to hang with any team with a productive offense, so the pain will continue. Nebraska 42 - RU 17.

Get ready for the you guys are embarrassing losers and the reason why kids won't come here response.

I can't make a prediction because my heart wont let my eyes and brain say what they will think will likely happen....

If I may......i can't even predict how this one turns out. We have yet to put two wins together and have looked absolutely lost in our away games in Illinois and Purdue. If Tommy is on, we are tough to beat, but he can make some bonehead plays still. Defense is getting stronger and we are playing for a bowl game shot so there should be no reason to come out flat. Good luck and injury free!

We have been so lackluster of late, I just can't see winning this game especially if Carroo can't go again.

NEBRASKA 31
RU 16

We add another big name scalp to go with Arkansas & Michigan.
We specialize in beating historic programs at their low point.

RU 27
Corncobs 24

Grant with another special teams TD

stupid Flood will take this as proof that starting Laviano has been the best move...though, by scoring 24, that was only 17 on offense (7 on kick return) and 3 of those came on a FG with under a minute left...

Nebraska can move the ball and has "life" after series of tight games, against very good opponents, including 4 losses on the final drive and 2 including "hail mary's." The Huskers come in with "MO," and we have ZERO, and they rolled up the yardage and points on MSU, so:

Children of The Corn - 52 (with 500+ yards of O)
Jersey Boys - 24

This season has me flummoxed but I'm thinking NU 27-24, if coaches learned from MSU game and use Jano and Cross again with Armstrong's play action I like our chances.

Nebraska has to win out to bowl but will save some for Iowa. Nebraska 38 RU 17

Nebraska 49
Rutgers 48
Jamarion runs back 7 kick offs but Federico hits the upright on the game tying EP. Post game, Flood beams about the fact that RU scored 48 points and talks about how staying with Laviano is paying off.

35 - 17 Nebraska - they will be jacked up to save their bowl chances. Armstrong is a nightmare for our D. Hoping we finally get some to's and breaks for a change and prove me wrong.

Nebraska-45
Rutgers-13

The same 10 posters will still make excuses.

No Contest.

Nebraska spread offense vs. Rutgers nonexistent defense
Nebraska solid defense vs. Rutgers inept offense

Nebraska 50 Rutgers 0.

Hayden Rettig will again not be allowed to play except during the last 4 minutes.

And Kyle Flood will think it is a wonderful learning lesson.
