Dylan special as most games. Ace making mid ranges and some rebounds. Aces play w consistency is a game changer.

As to TOO, today just seemed to confirm their status, role and limitations with minor exception.

Jwill- a sparkplug. When hes on, things go well. A swing player in ru fortunes

Acuff- is he still injured or just quickness challenged? Not going to be much of a maker, perhaps one game

Martini- appears pat cummings like short armed. Same influence level as acuff

Ogbole- really coming on. Needs more minutes rebounding better as time goes on

Hayes- dont care he missed 4 tonight. Will even out. Needs 5 shots game and second half mins

Jmike liking his D and the frw shots that dropped. Hes an x factor that could tip positive the team

Dercack- excellent athleticism but needs to drop the bully ball at this level that worked at the lower level. Need to figure a way to urilize the energizer bunny energy which could also tip ru forward.

Somerville- if he learns that if the ball is kicked out from the post it might come back, he could be effective. Now its a zero sum most times

A few in amber but a few that could tip the season either way.

The Pat Cummings (R.I.P.) reference alone gets your write-up a thumbs up! 👍

I got his autograph and I saw him play for the Bucks vs. the Nets at the RAC in the late 70s-early 80s. He had a solid NBA career, including a few good, albeit injury-plagued, seasons with the Knicks in the mid 80s.

Pat and Terry Cummings were an awesome pair with the Bucks. Pat struggled with the Knicks (mostly) and was noted in my circles for his short arm play. Loved those Knicks teams though, even pre Pitino 80s.

Hoping for a more favorable Martini comparison in the future

If only Martini was half as good as Cummings, who spent 10 years in the NBA!

True of course not nba player but at this level. the comparison was largely that the knicks brought him in with what was then a large contract with expectations of him being a good rebounder, etc., and the results made many say he was a short armed player and when martini is out there, there’s some of that same feeling and comparison
