Ahh this one would have been so nice to have just like the Illinois game but just short which in today’s metrics of the NET is taken into consideration so that’s a positive. A win here would have given RU an inside track to a 4-6 seed which I think most would agree would be a bit on the optimistic side. The next goal down from a higher seed is just getting in. Rutgers is still in very good shape here.
All Rutgers needs to do is go 4-2 at home with 2 of those being Neb and NW. Then Rutgers needs just one road game and that includes the game at MSG. This is all before the Big Ten tourney. Relax everyone the goal is still well within reach.
