Help us help our brothers and sisters of the Rutgers University Police Department nab a quartet of suspected theives.

On Friday, November 11, at approximately 3:00 a.m., four men entered the Rutgers Athletic Center (RAC), located at 83 Rockafeller Road in Piscataway, NJ, and stole a high value of athletic equipment.

It just so happens that we have some nice, clear photos of the suspects. Rutgers University Police Department is asking that anyone with information, or who may have been in the area at the time, contact the Rutgers Police Department Detective Bureau at (848) 932-8025.

Assuming these are the guys, you have to wonder just how stupid they really are. Like it or not, we now live in a world of cameras. They look like they either are clueless or just don't care.

I remember the good old days of stealing bus signs, so I'm not gonna be too harsh.

It's the usual freshman stuff (or a frat scavenger hunt), as these guys barely look 18. Hopefully they're smart, return what they took and apologize.

They were probably drunkenly stumbling around the RAC after a night out and found something of value easy to swipe and thought they wouldn't get caught. Ooops.

I have the RU Office of Alcohol Studies sign in my basement bar, stolen from one of the old barracks on Busch circa 1981. Not that I took it :sunglasses:

lol seriously. Assuming these guys won't be the basis for the next iteration of the Oceans series.
Perhaps the millennial "Dumb and Dumber." Starring, the kid in the plaid hoodie and the one he's looking at in the blue hoodie... would be big box office.

Hopefully, they aren't students because if they are then they just pissed away their tuition money and will have to find a good community college instead.

I'd wager that they are students. I don't think this would qualify for expulsion - but definitely will be some discipline. Id file this under Freshman doing freshman things because they're freshman.

Not necessarily. I know someone who stole more and did damage. Had to pay restitution and go through an alcohol program but did not miss a day of the semester in classes.

The school doesn't make a habit of destroying the lives of kids that make stupid mistakes.

This is 100% true. RU prefers to keep the discipline within the school whenever it's feasible rather than escalating to outside law enforcemebt.

Forgot we had those too.

Yeah. Now when Coach Pike is giving the tour, and recruits wonder where the trophies are, he can point to this incident.

Wouldn't be surprised if the whole thing was orchestrated from higher up - Hobbs and Barchi are both Jersey guys.

Unless of course they are a football or basketball player and the Ledger gets involved.
