With the pure embarrassment of it all Herman can no longer stand on the sideline. JH needs to step to the plate and say something other then shes refereeing it to the president. Maybe its time to clean the entire house President, AD and HC. we are a national embarrassment at this point. God, I could only wonder what the B1G thinks, they have to be applying some pressure as well behind the scenes one would think? Never a dull moment on the banks that's for damn sure.

This college is a lot bigger then a few football players getting arrested. This is not even a blip on the radar compared to what happened at TTFP, and to an SEC school what happened here is just another day that ends in 'y'. We don't have all the facts yet, so while I get the media has advertising to sell, this is sloppy reporting. Even worse case scenario where LC when hog wild and just hit everything he saw (including women and cops - I don't know any of this by the way) unless Flood was directly involved I can't see him going anywhere until after the season ends. Let the facts come out, and let the smoke clear because it will - even though it may never clear for us the fans for this year.
Her experience is with an athletics program that only cared about money and not it's athletes. She handled the OLYMPIC sports which are NOT football. She hasn't been out in front of this at all over the past few weeks either.

You're kidding right? The B1G is too busy counting the money we brought to the table to give a crap about this. PSU/Sandusky, OSU/Tressel meant nothing to the league, why would this minor (in comparison) stuff.

Flood isn't going anywhere. Even when you factor in B10 money Coach Flood is what RU is able to afford right now. Serious (financial) issues with the medical school merger have slowly gotten worse over the past two years. Not much media coverage because Christie's administration has helped in keeping key information under wraps. But everyone knows that in two years Trenton will expect big big changes in State Government as well as RU. So anything short of gross misconduct of mammoth proportions I don't see Flood going anywhere.

Rutgers shouldn't even pay those places a passing thought. While having ALL of the arrests and suspensions be made public within the same month is bad, this is hardly among among the worst problems in the NCAA.

The problem with moving her to Fundraising is that she's not good at that either because the RU Boosters don't have confidence in her. I'm not saying that she is an albatross for RU Athletics, but I wouldn't argue with anyone who says that she's easily the weakest AD in the B1G. But Kate Sweeney likes her, so we have that going for us, which is nice. lol
Every incident is under investigation, if Flood is responding that he can't comment on an ongoing investigation what makes you think she can.

This post is completely wrong. I guess some just feel like they can make up facts to support their internet opinions. Posting something like this says more about the poster than it does about the issue.
She's not good at fundraising yet we've increased the salary/buyout of Flood. She also increased the salary pool of assistants to the point we paid a coordinator the most we ever have. The number of donors to the athletic department has increased. We're about the build the first athletic structure since the 80s and it's for an Olympic sport and this was all done through private funds. Yup she must really suck considering we've had such a wondrous history of fundraising for the athletic department let alone the school in general.
Knight Moves-you're wrong. She's a great fundraiser and that's why she's here. But like I said, that's all she should really do. Weakest AD in the conference? Don't know if I agree with that. Least experienced? Maybe. Either way-she's not owning the program and being out in front. In my book, that doesn't fly. You're CKF's boss. Act like it.

I won't say she's a great fundraiser but I'll say she's good especially considering our history. JH/SB seem like they're doing a decent job. Did I miss all the money pouring in through private donations before. We couldn't even fire FHJ without some trumped up baseball thing, Gary Waters too. Did I miss all the facilities built either entirely or even largely through private funds?
The big lift is getting private funds for the major athletic renovations and that's another level of fundraising. I expect it to be eventually done through athletic revenue bonds and private funds. But those private funds are still probably a hefty chunk for a school like us with no history of that kind of fundraising for the AD. If she can do that, I would even give her passes on failed hires. It's not like she would be the first AD to get another bite at the apple anyway.
You can knock her for foot in the mouth or not being the most polished at times when speaking publicly but the way our athletic director, whomever that is, gets nitpicked to death in the media I don't think you'll ever find that polish. And I've said before, her biggest responsibilities are raising funds and hiring coaches not coming out and making comments to the media to go over with a fine tooth comb. I don't care about stupid public statements. If she's supporting coaches in the background that's fine with me. I care about hiring good coaches, raising money finding ways to lift our moribund athletic department which is so far behind many others.
Jurich's build at Louisville took a good 15 years, it's not easy and it's going to take time and the B10 money will help alot but it isn't a panacea or bottomless pot of gold that will solve all our financial problems. Get out of the bubble, get some fresh air. The sky isn't falling because some media blowhards are trying to get clicks and ears. I hate Christie, but his statement today shows that this is all alot of smoke without fire. And if I'm wrong, it's because the RU administration shoots themselves in the foot again.
Rutgers has been talked about ALOT here in Nebraska on sports talk radio. It's kind of interesting, a lot is negative and many people on shows come on and say the RU AD is in over her head and that athletic department needs to start over.
Not saying I agree with it all, but Rutgers is mentioned a few times a week on Omaha/Lincoln stations and 95% is negative. Just so you know, you are talked about in the Midwest.
