Who and why is the guy in white aiming a crossbow at Franklin?
Who and why is the guy in white aiming a crossbow at Franklin?
What if he is aiming it at Franklin's daughter? :scream::scream::scream::scream::scream::scream:Who and why is the guy in white aiming a crossbow at Franklin?
my goodness...... i mean...what's not to like, right? ...grown men making fun of man being consoled by his own daughter?
OK. You are totally dense. Can't reason with you.
I apologize for not recognizing Franklin's daughter by the left hand draped over his right shoulder. Next time, I will do more research before posting such an insensitive picture. I do not know how I will sleep tonight or the rest of this week.
I am not surprised in the least that a psu fan could ID an obscure insider from their left hand. They are so invested in psu football culture NOTHING gets past them, for many it is up there with the most important things in their lives (sadly I know a few). They know everyone and everything. All visitors, all family members of the extended program, NOTHING gets by them, except of course if it is something that might hurt the program. Then they become deaf, dumb, and blind. Their disgusting old coach set that tone decades ago.
Good stuff it up your ass.Umm I saw him hugging her live after the game. Though it was a safe guess looking at the picture. No obscure insider here lol. Man, you're going deep with this. Deaf, dumb, blind...huh?...lol. The f*ck you talking about? Lol
Good stuff guys. Thanks
To be fair, I could see the confusion. Your program does have a history of bringing unaccompanied minors to bowl games on the departments dime.Umm I saw him hugging her live after the game. I walked right by that tailgate yesterday. I did ask if they considered displaying an OJ figure holding a bloody glove. I also said that I expected better than that from USC fans at the Rose Bowl. That said they did put in a pretty good effort making these things.
Scandalous!!What if he is aiming it at Franklin's daughter? :scream::scream::scream::scream::scream::scream:

Julie Herman has issued an apology for the USC piñatas....and for OJ

Ultimately you've hit on exactly what this troll is probing for.
Thank goodness most posters who bothered to respond here are of the "Go f**k yourself" variety. But still, there are a few who immediately took the bait and started backtracking and apologizing. It's what makes this board so appealing for them.
(And I hope this post doesn't get deleted like the last one I posted addressing all the weeping Nancys)
you said:This response is not going to win Over many, but I have to say it. I dislike (hate is a very strong word in my opinion so I refrain)PSU as much as anyone. I went to many away games there when younger and saw RU get beat many times.
However, RU fans need to grow up!
I was happy it was a good game and PSU played great and I was impressed at the level at which they played. Some day I hope RU can compete at that same level. Bashing their team and fans has no benefit to anyone or anything. If you are a fan of college football then it was an entertaining game - period!
We will be able to compete with them one day, but that day is not now.
Go RU!!
P. S. - it looks like the guy in white is just holding up a microphone boom. Capturing sounds.
The "'dude' play" in internet dialogue has been studied extensively in the professional literature. Based on analysis of thousands of transcripts and an international survey of college sophomores, one refers to one's dialogical nemesis as "dude" in an attempt to accomplish three objectives:
1. Feign collegiality with the nemesis. By calling someone dude in writing, you employ the gambit of letting multiple inferences to be drawn. "Dude" could be analogous to the UK term "mate," while at the same time imply "you flaming a**hole." Hence, the writer suggests the latter while being able to protest that he mean the former.
2. Garner support from third parties. This aspect of the "dude play" was most succinctly summarized by a sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania: "When I call a guy, "dude," I am basically saying to everybody else reading, "We all know this guy is some kind of a *********, but I am trying my best not to say that directly."
3. Set up the knockout punch that the writer believes he is about to deliver. The "dude play" is, in this respect, much like a left jab. It puts the nemesis slightly off guard and makes the knockout blow all that more effective.
You can't make this stuff up.

C'mon, you had to expect someone to say that, lol...Wow, just wow.
I will happily read 100 "dudes" to be spared one "Wow, just wow."C'mon, you had to expect someone to say that, lol...
I did no backtracking, and my responses were to further illustrate how dense he was and mock his faux outrage. Hope that was clear. If not, I owe this board an apology. :weary:Ultimately you've hit on exactly what this troll is probing for.

Oh trust me. I ABSOLUTELY do.Nah. I don't think you do.

PSU kids crying after a hard fought football game?.....yessss!, that's gotta feel good

I would have let the thread die. You are the one who brought it back up to the top. Admit it you love being here. You're a masochist.
Oh we're gonna make you pay for that!though, I will admit...I do love being here. all kidding aside....best free board out there
Oh we're gonna make you pay for that!
....who doesn't enjoy human suffering of kids losing a football game?...c'mon
So we, who went WINLESS in our conference, are making fun of the players and coaches who played in an incredible Rose Bowl. Oh yeah, these coaches and players had nothing to do with the horror that preceded them. Of course there are no photos of heartbroken crying RU players: our games were basically over by the first half.

If you really cared about kids suffering you wouldn't be a fan of Pedd St. football. They pretty much wrote the book on kids' suffering.....and, of course, grown-ups turning and looking away.
