Has anyone had any success this year in upgrading their season tickets to move locations? I am more interested in hearing if anyone was able to move to the 100s as an indication to how ticket renewals have been this year
Thanks for feedback…good sign of the fanbase but stinks that people can’t upgradeNo 100s available, even single tickets
If you are in this for the long haul, just ask each year you send in for ticketsThanks for feedback…good sign of the fanbase but stinks that people can’t upgrade
Yes. Still I had 100s for years, including when I lived elsewhere. Gave them up for 2 years when I had a baby while living in Ohio then resumed and now can't improve and they don't give a hoot about 30 plus years of tickets since it is not every year. The people who have the top seats as Rutgers basketball season tickets have been the most loyal of fans for a very long time. They have supported the team when many others did not. They deserve them so very much. Those people held their tickets through many lean years when others would rarely attend a game.
Its insane they havent jumped those prices by at minimum 2X. Theres a market for them at 3X the price franklyNo 100s available, even single tickets
I have 191pp … based on what it says on the screen for how many donors there are I’m in top .05%Would be interesting to know the priority points threshold. What’s the highest priority point buyer on the 100’s waiting list?
Why should someone who meets the requirements of the 100s get kicked out for you? You chose to give them up.Yes. Still I had 100s for years, including when I lived elsewhere. I hope our AD fully appreciates. thisThe people who have the top seats as Rutgers basketball season tickets have been the most loyal of fans for a very long time. I have always sat in the 200's, now in the front, and preferred that over moving all the way downYes. Still I had 100s for years, including when I lived elsewhere. No, if you need the current requirements for the 100s you can't get pushed out. The only way would be if RU changes the PP needed for the 100s.I have always sat in the 200's, now in the front, and preferred that over moving all the way down
I am sure my priority points are higher than many in the 100s and I wonder if I applied for that section, would I be able to take someone's 100 seats. Not going to actually do that

Not suggesting anyone should be kicked out. Just lamenting the loss. But I also bought decades of tickets for a $-it product and that is worth nothing in considering which folks are asking the few who move up.Why should someone who meets the requirements of the 100s get kicked out for you? I sit near the top of section 115. I pay astronomically more for my tickets than someone 5 yards behind me in the front of the 200 section. My seats are plenty expensive. The front half of the 200 level is the place to look for raising prices. Its insane they havent jumped those prices by at minimum 2X. Theres a market for them at 3X the price frankly
The front of the 200 section is the sweet spot. Your view is just as good as mine in the 100 section and your pricetag is significantly cheaper.I have always sat in the 200's, now in the front, and preferred that over moving all the way down

Surprised you can't move in footballAnd to get back on topic, I have been trying for years to tweak my tickets into a slightly better spot in both basketball and football and it's never possible. The people that have the best seats are going to keep them unless they get priced out.

Priority points erase your prior history. That's not right
Why can't you get a better football spot? And to get back on topic, I have been trying for years to tweak my tickets into a slightly better spot in both basketball and football and it's never possible. The people that have the best seats are going to keep them unless they get priced out.
Spot on. It's still that a seat in the front row of the 200s is the same as the last row of the 200s. There's a world of different between the views.I sit near the top of section 115. I pay astronomically more for my tickets than someone 5 yards behind me in the front of the 200 section. My seats are plenty expensive. The front half of the 200 level is the place to look for raising prices.
Lots of folks do that “cheapest seat“ approach for football.I have suggested in the past for fans to get one seat, cheapest available, in order to keep years of priority built up
Consider that.cost.as a donation
If you decide to return you are still good
Marry be you can't get immediately back to the 100s, but you haven't lost everything

I guess we're going off on a tangent but we should not necessarily be charging fmv just because we can. It will erode the atmosphere. You as a Ranger fan probably know this better than anybody --- atmosphere at MSG is a shell of what it used to be.What do you pay now?
Fair market value for your season tix is about $2000-2300/seat.
And it's still the best pro sports experience in tristate and I'm not even a Rangers fanI guess we're going off on a tangent but we should not necessarily be charging fmv just because we can. The garden still rocks for big games but yes the suits eating sushi behind the glass suck. But lets be honest, the crew in the 100’s currently aint exactly the loudest bunch. Disagree. They're always fully engaged from my perspective. Maybe not the loudest (I wouldn't really know from the 300s) but they're always into the games. The garden still rocks for big games but yes the suits eating sushi behind the glass suck. The question is would/will we have that luxury to make the choice. I really don't know what the math will (or does) look like with B1G and total athletic revenues relative to our costs.Disagree. They're always fully engaged from my perspective. Maybe not the loudest (I wouldn't really know from the 300s) but they're always into the games.
I just don't want what happened at MSG to happen at the RAC (I know it won't to that extreme with the suits but still).
I have waited over 40 years for this there's no way I would every give up my tickets!!Would be shocked to see anyone getting rid of season tix this year or next…..too much excitement around the 2024 incoming class.
Yeah there has to be a balance. I feel like Rangers/Yankees et al charge the most possible. To the detriment of the atmosphere. The question is would/will we have that luxury to make the choice. I really don't know what the math will (or does) look like with B1G and total athletic revenues relative to our costs.
I also don't know the impact on donations (to athletic department) NIL has or will have in the future. Id think the athletic department needs to get as close as break even as possible. Tickets and parking are really the best hammer the department has for brining in money.
Here we go again. The garden still rocks for big games but yes the suits eating sushi behind the glass suck. But lets be honest, the crew in the 100’s currently aint exactly the loudest bunch. They yell at people when they stand
For the record - 2 seats and 1 parking pass - ran me a shade under 3,600 for 100 level - and there are more expensive seats down there (Center and side opposite of the benchs goes for a little more) so it was like 1650 a seatWhat do you pay now?

You think it's insane to get rid of the RAC? By that measure, Duke should get rid of Cameron Indoor.Just as it would be insane to renovate the existing seats and capacity rather than building new and bigger.
