There a bunch of posters who have a LOT of crow to eat right now. I get it, the stadium likely will NOT be packed, but some of you in other threads finding a million different reasons that people won't show up, well, take a bow because these predictions of "low 30"s," or less, are going to get stomped on Thursday night.
While tickets are sold out on the RU website there are, sadly, ton available on the secondary market....for dirt cheap prices.
Well aware of what's available, and well aware there won't be 50K in the stands as well, but I'm guessing we can hit low-to-mid 40's which is a far cry from what some here were predicting.
There could be a 10k variation depending on the weather.

Scrolling through StubHub quickly there are some sections with a dozen or two tix available, then some with several dozen, and the ones with more availability seem to be heavy season ticket holder sections. Have a feeling with things "clearing up" for Thursday a lot of those tickets get sold or taken off the market so those fans can attend now.
You want to bank on the weather forecast not being off by 8 hours?
Even if not all butz 'n seats, still a promising development.

It's disappointing that there are still student tickets available
likely waiting on weather forecast but if they don't have that section filled for the first game back in 2 years I will be disappointed
i agree. I actually found that more surprising than the surprising announcement of a general public sell out. I have faith they'll get to a student sell out. The first game is always the best attended game by students. Kids are always late to do these things like reserve tickets if there isn't an external force. Some are probably still asking how and where they can reserve the ticket. Moving in and everything else.
