Tickets to the general public are SOLD OUT

Does he/she(?) work for Rutgers? I've never seen someone post so many threads.
Heaven, no he just likes to post about deals on apparel and tickets.. He's retired and lives by your parents in the next town over Manchester. I like bantering back and forth with him we live pretty close to each other so we know each others area well.

Well Kole, enjoy your farm while you can. I heard Lakewood is annexing sections of Howell.

O believe me it's a battle. I just talked to my rear neighbor, a Hasidic just moved into his cul-de-sac, he's been calling the town on him. I have a 50' buffer of woods between him and my back pastures he was throwing all types of garbage in there. I walked over and told him, "go pick it up now or you're going to find it on your front porch". I started walking away and his 8 rug rats were out there picking it up. They just don't give a sh*t about anyone else. I put all my boars in the back pasture so they won't come near it.

Kole, how many do you have? Is there a difference between a boar and a feral pig ?

Yea feral pigs if provoked can kill you. I have 3 boars(male) and 11 sows(female) they're KuneKune pigs and have a very mellow disposition. My main breeding boar Jack is a 250lb marshmallow, he just wants two things, belly rubs and food. This breed is also smaller(a Yorkshire can get 750lbs) and graze unlike other breeds.

He really should as he would certainly be an enthusiastic ticket promotional person for Rutgers. How they have not reached out to him and offered him some promotion/sales position seems crazy.

Were those Health Care Heroes free tickets real?
I am sure they were. I am sure a portion of them are now on the secondary market at very low prices. We probably will never know how many of the seats were actually sold versus given away. Hey it's a good strategy to try to fill the building and recoup the revenue from game day spending but I think this is a long way from a genuine sell out. Hopefully they get a good turnout.

I think alot of this has to do with being able to get 4 free tickets. People who dont care about football or Rutgers, saw this as an easy way to make a few bucks
While tickets are sold out on the RU website there are, sadly, ton available on the secondary market....for dirt cheap price

Although there are reasons to get people in the place at a reduced price
it was always a little annoying to think about the $80 plus each of my tickets cost me
and have people sit next to me who paid $15.

It's disappointing that there are still student tickets available
Did somebody forget to tell or remind to them that when the cannibis bill was passed it made drinking under 21 now a warning. ?

If all you want is a seat then you probably shouldn't buy season tickets.
You are paying for a specific seat, possibly adjacent to others you want to sit with, and to know that seating arrangement will be the same at every game.

If the team starts to perform well, then your season ticket could also have a monetary advantage, but were not quite there yet.

And a good reason they should have and not complain about an usher that keeps them out of the sideline seats. Season ticket holders continue to get abused by RU and now they dont even get a pre season package including some perks.

Some schools offer a multi-sport season ticket discount. Would like to see Rutgers do something like “ Buy a season ticket for wrestling or basketball, Get a football End Zone Season Ticket for $ 150.

‘Wish it ain’t so but mid-40’s is not happening.
Take a look at the multiple resale ticket sites shopping thousands of seats at low prices
I’ve seen 5000 tickets turned into 200 tickets within 24 hours of games before. Again, this is common place all over the country, not really that big of a deal, I don’t know why so many are making it as much.

Again, I’m not stupid, there’s not gonna be 50,000 people in the stands on Thursday night, but I think the crowd will be a lot better than what most of expected all things considered.

Schiano will get the students there.
Of all the doubts I had about Schiano,
Promotion wasn’t one of them.
Pretty sure only the freshman moved in last week. Upper classes tomorrow and Thursday. Not worried about it the students will be there.

While I’m at it WHEN will someone in charge realize the scarlet walk should start at the circle?!

The wife and I took a ride to New Brunswick on Saturday to hit Scarlet Fever and have a late lunch on George Street. It was great seeing the campus alive with students

Oh yeah? Well I'm not stupid either and I say there's gonna be 100,000 people in the stands.

The tickets didn't sell out. They got dumped to stub hub right around 12 noon today. I know this because I was in the process of buying one right before noon had one in my cart, took a call and then they were all sold out. There were seats all over right before noon today.

I have never gone to any college or pro football game where I couldn’t scoff up a ticket for very little (or even for free) right before kickoff. There are always folks with spare tickets, for a ticket group where someone or two were late cancellations. My favorite spot was Shea Stadium during the Joe Namath era.

Campus move-in was Wed-Fri last week, with I'm sure others moving in off campus even earlier. Classes start tomorrow. Though some won't be able to attend due to Thursday classes, I'm not worried about student attendance... There were plenty of people out and about earlier this evening at the Yard, Voorhees Mall, and on College Ave for the annual "Involvement Fair".

NFL games for stadiums with 60,000-70,000 fans have 3,000-5,000 seats on Stubhub the week of the game, so 2,000 tickets for RU isn't anything out of the ordinary. Any crowd that doesn't show up will be through any discounted/comp'd tickets they gave out to people in the area since those traditionally have a really low turnout rate.
