Tickets to the general public are SOLD OUT

Weird but I just saw 2 first row tickets behind Temple bench available when I logged into my account - STH add on.

Not sure if Rutgers is still trickling out tickets. The plot thickens.

Yea feral pigs if provoked can kill you. I have 3 boars(male) and 11 sows(female) they're KuneKune pigs and have a very mellow disposition. My main breeding boar Jack is a 250lb marshmallow, he just wants two things, belly rubs and food. This breed is also smaller(a Yorkshire can get 750lbs) and graze unlike other breeds.

You guys deal with the boars. I have to deal with this. I've run across a few of these but not one this big.

Got to think the actual crowd will be much smaller on Saturday due to various reasons

I think if no storm, tonight would have seen 45k in the stadium.
I dunno. I think weekend games are usually much easier for a lot of people to attend. I think it’ll be as good as it would have been today, if not even more full. As someone working in the city, it’s MUCH easier coming down for a Saturday game than a weekday evening with work the next day.

As I expected: the students showed up...BIG TIME (and based on the Easton Ave "scene" following the game it was all frosh/sophs because the bars were DEAD lol....)!!!

Maybe I missed it but what was the announced and estimated (real) attendance on Saturday ? I saw some highlights and it looked like a lot of empties in the corners & EZs. Did not see upper decks.
I’d say around 30k showed up (52k Tix “Sold”)

Maybe 35k since the councourses were full all game cuz of long/slow food & beer lines

If the game was sold out, why did so few attend?

I had tickets for the game but planned for Thursday evening, not Saturday. My Saturday had been booked for months with no way to reschedule. I'm sure lots of others were in the same boat (no flood pun intended).

Rutgers still went ahead and announced the attendance as 52,519 according to the below box score. That's above capacity. There were entire corner sections completely empty that were clearly visible on TV.

If it was only Rutgers, I would criticize, but it is all P5 teams. Many games for all P5 teams are now announced as sold-out or close to it, but very few really are.

Some folks buy tickets and don’t show up. Lots of those upper level folks with corner tickets are the first folks 5 minutes into the game who head for prime seats. The Yellow Jackets let folks sit wherever they want 5 minutes after the game starts.

Wish it were so but not even close. Definitely well below 30k. The stadium was not at 50% capacity.
The real numbers will be released in next June.
‘’Fans need to show up”. That’s it.

It wasn't just the "upper corners," there were entire sections of lower corner seats that were virtually empty. I saw it with my own eyes.
So long as you report it correctly (tickets out/sold or turnstile) that’s all that matters per the NCAA.
Judging by the posts of yours I've seen, it doesn't surprise me at all that you have no problem with Rutgers releasing wildly inaccurate attendance numbers. You were posting from the stadium that it was a great crowd when it clearly wasn't the case.

Agreed.

How are the numbers inaccurate? The attendance is based on tickets out, not people in the building. There were no more tickets left to purchase. Yeah, there was likely only 30-32,000 in the stadium, but that's not what announced attendance is based on.

They always report tickets distributed, which as far as I can tell have always included thousands of freebies distributed to organizations and charities that end up not being used.
