In a year where the Cubs won the WS for the first time in over 108 years -and in a different millennium, where Prince / Bowie passed, where Donal Trump becomes the biggest political story since Watergate (maybe bigger....we have to wait / see what he does) / Rutgers honors it 2006 team for beating then #3 L'ville (they're in the top 4 again): We have to suck it up / somehow, someway make a statement that is not apologetic. We have to WIN!
Ash has a plan and it takes time ok. But losing three games (and maybe some of the team in the last game) by a combined scores of the atomic weight of the Milky Way; having a 28 year old OC who speaks well but isn't creative (he can't think on his feet- he can't adapt when things aren't going they way he planned); having a D coordinator who forgot that blitizing is not a Jewish food; and special teams sans Grant is anything but SPECIAL (we don't have a kick off it's more or a gimme the ball at the 40+++; or a field goal kicker who has range beyond the extra point area- but we wouldn't know since we've been shut out 3 times this year....and rarely kick extra points).Hell in the Michigan game we barely got a first down....
This is SHEA LIKE...and THAT'S NOT GOOD. Ash needs to recruit...RECRUIT...RECRUIT!
Then he needs to RECRUIT SOME MORE>>>>>and develop the players so we aren't an embarrassment.
We honored the 2006 team and celebrated our 250th....I think the team, the fans and the gods OWE US THIS ONE.
BEAT PED ST. and all will be forgiven. Ash / Co. will get a Mulligan in 2016...but continue down this path to perdition- and note to Hobbs (start looking).
