Providence putting a beating on Wisconsin early

Later there's Sparty - Duke, Illinois - Marquette, and Iowa - Creighton

I know Providence is very tough at home, but Wisconsin looks pitiful

Mississippi Valley St is one of the worst D1 defensive schools every year.
Ken Pom, 23-24 362nd/362, 22-23 357th 21-22 355th 20-21 357th
I don't know why UConn would even scheduled this other than padding stats vs a fringe D1, they are a -45 point favorite and will cover

That doesn't surprise me they've won the last 2 meeting @ Cuse, I expected Colgate to win again. Colgate was +7 tonight. 😂😂😂
At halftime Colgate is out rebounding Syracuse 27–12. On the offensive glass it is 8–1. 46–30 on the scoreboard. I feel just terrible.

On small sample size it might be Purdue great and everyone else Meh in b10.

Syracuse have cut it to 3, under 2 to go, after about 79 Colgate turnovers in a row

Wow, Cam scored 25 on FG 9-15, 3pt 7-11 vs Miss Valley St., the worst team in college basketball.

He scored 22 vs Hofstra, 21 & 17 vs Minnesota, 19 vs Rider, 18 vs CCSU and Sacred Heart, 17 vs Columbia and Coppin St, he's just another Alex Rodriguez of college basketball, pads stats when the game is decided before it starts.

He also scored a combined 15 points in 131 minutes over 5 games vs Illinois, Penn St, Miami, Indiana and Seton Hall, 10 games in single digits.

I'm not discrediting his Game Winners @ Purdue and @ NW but he came up short in a lot games last year that we could've won if he was that guy but most of his best scoring games were against the Miss Valley St's of College Basketball.

Good to see Iowa is still allergic to playing defense. Creighton is currently 15-17 from the field to start the second half.

He won't be the only capable scorer at uconn like he was at Rutgers. He's likely to get more open looks against the better schools at uconn. I wouldn't be so sure he disappears in the big east schedule

Looked at bart....you can get preseason bias on a team basis, but not a conference.

RU is #154 BTW

Did notive bart has us with the toughest B1G schedule

Hunter Dickinson with 27 points and 21 rebounds in Kansas win over Kentucky.
Cam Spencer 25 points in UConn win.
I would say these transfers are going to work out well for their new teams.

Marquette beats Illinois
Creighton beats Iowa
Duke beats MSU
Providence beats Wisconsin

Thanks God the Big 10 has RU to save the day tonight.

He's not all of the sudden going to become the UConn version of JJ Redick with more talent around him, he's not even as good as Grayson Allen or even Jon Scheyer. He's into his 5th year and his 4th year he had TEN single digit scoring games, adding more talent around him isn't going to change him as a player. Last year, six of those games happened when we were 16-7 on pace for the NCAA tournament, 7th single digit in that Mich St game he had 2 pts for 38 minutes and had 5-6 FTs at the end. Why did he struggle shooting game after game vs more athletic guards on Miami, Indiana, Mich St, Penn St, Nebraska, Seton Hall, and Temple? More than half of Big East teams have quick athletic guards geared towards defense.

Look at what Providence did to Wisconsin 72-59, 8-18 from 3, 16-54 3pt vs Columbia and Milwaukee. Wisconsin shot 5-20 from 3 vs Prov. Iowa could only get 14 3pt attempts off vs Creighton. I'm sure he have his games vs DePaul and Georgetown, bottom 2, but he will struggle and shrink vs a lot of the teams in the Big East.

He's going to be an efficient knock down 3 point shooter. He will get more open looks at uconn against better teams than he did at Rutgers for the reason already mentioned

No one thinks he's going to be some All American that the offense runs through. Cam will most likely have a very good season
