You have to explain to me why Paul has the ball the entire shot clock. Game tied and you give the ball to a freshman who is struggling. Not ripping Pike, but I need an answer for that one. Makes no sense. Caleb needs to be in the game over him

He had the ball so long because he did not give it up, just kept dribbling around.

Caleb was getting out muscled to the basket in the last few minutes and requires help

However...Mulchay also should not have been in

My five to match up best with them would have been

Young
Mathis
Harper
Yeboah
Johnson

Yeboah wasnt his best either.

Perhaps the right lineup wAS OUT AND mULCAHY JUST MADE A BAD PLAY. It happens.

The takeaway from the game wasnt who was or wasnt on the floor...
1. Was Cockburn a factor on the offensive end?
2. Giorgi ?
3. Ayo----for most of the game you had no idea a lottery pick was on the floor

Who was in the game had a lot to do with some of the above

It looked to me as though Pike directed Paul to use his dribble to draw defenders, including possibly Kofi, in order to get a lob or other assist to Myles.

I’ll have to watch the replay but it looked like the help defense never came and/or Myles didn’t move enough to show he was open for a lob or pass.

That could be true. For just a second, you could see PM show frustration and it looked like he was frustrated by something or someone else. Like someone didn't run the play that was called. It was just my interpretation, but this would make sense.

Totally disagree you need Caleb in the game over Mathis. Mathis drove into the big man like 3 straight time and got nothing

I thought Paul struggled a little more in making decisions when he had the ball. When he drives that baseline he better have a good idea of the play in advance because the end line makes him easier to defend. If he is reach his potential he is going to have to become more of an offensive threat either with a mid range jumper or being able to finish a drive to the rim.
