This is why I'd it seems highly unlikely Rutgers will face UCLA at MSG (if RU even gets a Garden game)..
UNC v. UCLA...Premonition of the future of the BIG? Will be watching the ticket sales and the eyeballs on the TV.Dang that stinks. Would’ve loved for RU to be in a MSG tournament this year. The Vegas thing is unbelievable for the players but the MSG game is far better for the fans
Come on down Tom Izzo once again!Yeah, I'd say this game pretty much puts the kibosh on a Rutgers-UCLA game at MSG during the 2024-25 season.
Now, we have to see if RU will perhaps play another B1G opponent at MSG instead of the RAC.
The garden still loves RU and our guaranteedThe perceived elite programs with big name recognition will always get preference at MSG.
Yes, we do pretty good there. 😉 I still want to see a game there, but the Vegas tournament is a bigger deal for the program right howThe garden still loves RU and our guaranteed

No, you're not. Our home games should be at the RAC. That being said, if we give one up every 4 years for the Big Ten showcase at the Garden, I won't complain too loudly. I see that as part of the NYC connection that got RU into the Big Ten.I have to imagine that I am not the only one who wants to see our home games played at home.
i hope you are right, no reason to play ucla at msg when we have an incredible home court advantageThis is why I'd it seems highly unlikely Rutgers will face UCLA at MSG (if RU even gets a Garden game)..
The big ten should try to arrange a game at the garden where it is the other teams home game, like the time we played Michigani hope you are right, no reason to play ucla at msg when we have an incredible home court advantage
I don’t know how many schools want to go play a “home” game in an arena where they will have less fans than the visitor.S

Its not our turn to give up a home court game, we could do that again the next time
I would guess the big ten pushed a bit for that game, exerted some sort of pressureI don’t know how many schools want to go play a “home” game in an arena where they will have less fans than the visitor.
It was nice of Michigan to do that.
Michigan knew they would still draw a bunch of fans to MSG. Unfortunately, U of M people are everywhere.I don’t know how many schools want to go play a “home” game in an arena where they will have less fans than the visitor.
