It's official. Randy Edsall is @UConnFootball's coach once again per a release from the the school. $1M /yr for 5 yrs. $0 buyout after 3 yrs
I don't think he did that badly at UConn. However, it will be a different world for him recruiting wise this time around
Last ditch effort. He wins or they drop to FCS and beg the Big East to take them in all sports
I expect him to win at UCONN. He knows how to win at a Group of Five level where many of the players are similiar talent wise.

This is so funny, I wouldn't wish him on anyone except Penn State.
IMO instead of scholarship reductions and bowl bans, the NCAA should just make Flood run the offending program for 4 years as their penalty.

Hey, Schiano left Rutgers and yet a lot of fans wanted him back. Louisville rehired Petrino. Is this really that much different?
He left the team at the Fiesta Bowl without addressing his team to fly to Maryland with its AD to discuss and ultimately accept the UMD head coach position. Even after taking the job, he never went back to talk to his guys. If I were a UConn fan, I'd be livid.
With that said, neither party could likely do better atm, so....
