USC bans tailgating at game vs Rutgers

USC screw ?
You might say it's actually the RU Screw west coast style, just that it's the host directional Cali school trying to make RU fans feel at home by screwing them out of the Trojan brand of tailgate experience 3,000 miles away. A decision that doesn't make much sense but they know that we're used to getting screwed and have learned well how to suck it up.

Since the stadium area has tailgating and is just a short walk across the way from their campus that's still an option for some. Not sure how much appeal there is with tailgating deeper within the campus anyway.

Without my glasses this AM I thought that said Trojan BAND.

If that was the case, then I can see torches and pitchforks. LOL

6 hours on a plane to have dogs and burgers in a lot. That’s your idea of fun when there are fantastic Michelin rated restaurants to pre game at 20 min from the stadium. Places famous for their food and cocktails. To each his own I can careless what some USC snob in a parking lot cares. I doubt they are looking for any of our fans to go and bother them with useless drivel.
My idea would be to forego Michelin restaurants, bypass the overpriced presumably small portions and head to a local brewery or pub. But hell yeah, give me a quality time with family/friends, a hot grill, drinks, cornhole and tailgate atmosphere any time.

OK. So is there a plan for RU fans attending? A restaurant, a location, a concierge doing a tailgate?

Basically, is there any organized event or just people figuring out how to get together?
Sign up for the official tailgate:

If I'm going, I need to see the USC Band and the Song Girls do Tribute To Troy. I don't care if they have have to greet me with it at LAX or do it on the middle of the 110

Screw their Policy.
I paid big bucks for Parking ..plan to tailgate behind our Car.
Not buying a permit to hike to a tailgate spot on their campus with all our gear.

You can have Revel host a tailgate--$750 for up to 10 people or $3,000 for up to 40 people- that's not bad, $75/person:

Thanks this is very helpful. Free tailgate right by the stadium sounds pretty good to me

Roadtrips across the country should not be for tailgating IMO. It’s to seek out a great place to eat and drink then park in the lot next to the stadium and walk in.
Have to say, that most of the away college games I’ve been to, part of the experience is the tailgate on game day. The restaurants are for the other days you are there.

+1

The other way is for a bowl game.
