Let’s hope for the best but big knee to knee contact. Hate to see that especially for a Sr on Senior Night.

I hope he’s OK but that would be a big loss for a team With very little margin for error going into the tournament Wednesday.

Never say there there isn’t any team/school gets worse luck than us, is in worse situations than us. Northwestern NEVER made the NCAA tournament until like 2 years ago and then it looked like they had turned a historic corner, and at the snap of a finger now they are in dead last in the most even overall year for t he conference in some time, and now lose their signature player on senior day. Always hated playing against him but I hate this for him

It looked real bad

Leg whip after banging shins as he and another player crossed paths

Has to be a serious knee injury

Hope I am wrong

I saw it right away and have a screen shot. I can't believe BTN didn't show it.
It wasn't overlay graphic but the most bizzare cut I've ever seen.

He had a non bleeding 4 inch "split" of his skin directly on his shin bone area. I mean it wasn't even bleeding but a huge gash. Got to be like many many stiches to pull it together. Ill post the shot later. Wow.

Btw, kudos to their athletic director who went out and carried the kid off.

here you go...

If we lose and Illinois beats Penn State we'd be the #11 seed and face NW.

If rather have the bye than a chance for an embarrassing loss killing the seasons momentum further.

Northwestern had a 4 * PG as part of their 2018 class that was a Top 150 recruit....he then landed at UTEP of all places, so whatever he did prior to the end of his senior year in HS, could not get him admitted at Northwestern.

I think if they landed him and he played this year, they're probably a couple of games better overall, but not sure they would've escaped the basement.

Lathon at UTEP is around 30+ minutes a game....11PPG, 5 RPG and 2 to 3 assists....UTEP is 8-20, so his stats are solid from 3 as well, around 34 to 35%.

Vic Law and Pardon would have had better seasons, with a solid lead guard.

UTEP is the opposite of Northwestern. I believe their acceptance rate is 100%. Interesting.
