*** Video Analysis: Tylin Odin to Rutgers ***

He is very athletic - some serious speed. Needs to hit the weight room and have a couple dozen fat sandwiches. Definitely looks like a high upside prospect. Thanks for posting

A red shirt year to bulk up and focus on mechanics will see him at another level. Two things you can't teach- size and speed. He has those both in abundance.

Unlike our previous QB commitment, this kid has offers from competitive football schools: WVU, Louisville, Mss St., Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech, Kentucky. The other commitment's best other offer was Temple.

Awesome! We are entering a whole new world with him, and he definitely has the potential it looks like.

Yep, that's usually the best yardstick (even better than ratings), IMO...this kid is likely already the best spread QB we'll have and he'll only get better with time to learn and time in the weight room (a redshirt would be great, but if he wins the competition, put him on the field).

Add in the fact that he got Vandy, GT and AF offers tell you he got some smarts to go along with the talent, as all of these schools know that the prospect must cut it in the class room as well.

and we we flipped him from Louisville.

That's an optimistic statement I'd say. That's like saying Temple flipped Russo from us. Yeah technically true, but means nothing when the context is considered. I'm still psyched we have him though.

Yeah. Louisville is getting Juwan Pass.
Even Juwan Pass isn't going to start over the freshman Lamar Jackson. Jackson will likely be a 4 year starter for UL. Jackson had an excellent freshman year by anyone's standards. Pass is not going to start at UL unless Jackson gets hurt.

Reminds me a lot of Josh Johnson (Harbaugh's QB at UofSD and now bouncing around the league TB, SF, Cleveland) with the way he moves and throws. Once he bulks up a bit, he could become a pretty lethal college QB I think.
