Visitors on campus for last night

I notice that Andre Rafus has been spending a decent amount of time on campus.

He would be a big pickup. Needs 20 pounds, but definitely a player that is getting a reputation for being able to shoot it anywhere on the court. Shooters, please apply to Rutgers.Sign the dotted line.

Per Zags on Twitter, Eddie will be at Blair Academy for 2017 PG Matt Turner....Turner was among those visitors at the OSU game

Wonder when are we going to offer the fab 5 2018 kids with the sports u program? Would love us to throw our hat in the ring.

Quite the group, per Carino:

bump....THIS IS A PREVIOUS RECRUITING ARTICLE. THREAD EVEN INCLUDES A ZAGS REFERENCE AND A JORDAN VISIT WITH MATT TURNER.

Here is a list of recruits Rutgers men’s basketball coach Eddie Jordan is hosting for tonight’s football game against top-ranked Ohio State:

Kwe Parker, Class of 2016: The four-star shooting guard from Wesleyan Christian Academy (N.C.) committed to Rutgers in August.

Andre Rafus, Class of 2017: The four-star 6-foot-8 small forward from Roselle Catholic High School has offers from at least a dozen high-majors, including Connecticut.

Kodye Pugh, Class of 2017: The four-star, 6-foot-8 wing from Blair Academy lists offers from Georgetown, Florida and several other high majors.

Deng Gak, Class of 2017: The 6-foot-11 Blair Academy center hails from Australia (he was born in Egypt) and is starting to draw significant high-major interest.

Andrew Platek, Class of 2017: The 6-foot-4 shooting guard from Guilderland (N.Y.) has drawn mostly mid-major interest.

Niem Stevenson, Class of 2016 (junior college): A 6-foot-4 shooting guard at Seward County Community College in Kansas.

Matt Turner, Class of 2016: The 6-foot-3 shooting guard attends Blair Academy.

So six weeks ago we had a kid from Roselle Catholic (one of the schools Zags refers to in his article) and three kids from Blair (as well as several others) to the RU-Ohio State game and his jumping off point in the article is we didn't invite kids to the RU-SHU game. Seriously? What a joke.

Exactly, Hoops. I think it is more of a case of Zags printing the agenda of some assistant at St. Anthony's as fact....shameful...and lol as half the people on this board start to kill EJ based on that article

Article did sway me into stopping my defense of Jordan and it's sad to feel a blogger like Zag can use his credibility to make a fan turn against a HC or stop trusting that coach will have his team looking better if he's given the time to do it.
So you can't point your lol a little my way , even though I didn't turn against Eddie, I did start backing off from my trust he would get the job done after reading that article.

All the usual negative fans on this board used this article and another post by some other guy on here as proof that Jordan and Staff are not even trying to recruit.

The other post was funnier. That guy claimed that he ran into a big time Jersey recruit, gave him a few lines about staying home, building something special and playing in front of family and fans........AND, in that short conversation he turns this big time recruit from a guy that said, "Rutgers Stinks" to a guy that is ready to talk to Jordan and the Staff and sign up.......The most ridiculous story ever, in the history of ridiculous stories !!!!!
