Vote for Arella for Senior Class Award

Interesting that you have had to prove more often than I have. I wonder if it is related to IP address or the speed of voting. I just voted 10 times quickly and got another set of squares to identify motorcycles after the 10th. Voted 2 more times and had to identify stairs. The speed of voting as well as volume maybe a factor? Definitely not half the time I vote but maybe I am an inferior voter so they know I am not a robot...
I also have a problem seeing the images to answer correctly but they seem to accept my answers.
Anyway, as of this evening (just before Purdue plays Iowa), Davis is back in front of Millan by about a percentage point and Arella is still above 10% but going down slowly.

So Maine plays StonyBrook in the America East conference championship today on ESPNU - 5 PM EST/2 PM PST, per ESPN. This is our chance to see Blanca Millan in action. (Davis has been on TV a lot and seeing her in action has not been difficult.)
So BEFORE we watch RU men beat the Illini, I hope, something else to watch.
Still voting for AG.

(Edited because I have problems switching time zones. RU plays at 3:30 PST and Maine plays at 2 PM PST.)

Arella is still losing ground gradually as the votes continue to pile up for Davis and Millan.
I did watch Maine play Stony Brook. Stony Brook won (64 to 60) and gets the autobid for their first trip to the NCAA tournament, per the announcers. Millan was not the best or most impressive player on the court at that game but she did score 20 (8 for 15, with a couple of 3s) and is an important part of Maine's team. Stony Brook had a player score 31 and another scored 20. They seemed able to contain Millan for a good part of the game. Millan will probably do fairly well playing pro in Europe. We are thinking Arella will do well in the WNBA (at least that is what a lot of announcers say). I am guessing Maine may get an opportunity to play in the WNIT and that might be an interesting test, if they decide to compete.
Let's keep voting for Arella.

The more I vote, the lower her percentage gets.

Same with me
which goes to prove:
voting multiple times for a Rutgers candidate might subtract to their score while other schools get those votes added to their candidate's total.
I just voted a couple of times and Arella went from a 7.7% to a 7.6% :chairshot:

I don't think that is the effect of our voting but that we can't vote as fast as the other two candidates can get votes so Arella is getting a relatively smaller and smaller portion of an ever increasing pie. I am guessing that the organizers are happy that there is an active competition with at least a couple of nominees to keep interest up.
If Arella was being penalized by our votes, like they replied last weekend about discarding automated votes, then that is sad since we are not automated.

Every time I think Rennia or Blanca are going to pull ahead of the other, the voting percentage switches. Meanwhile, Arella's percentage continues downward, as do most of the other ones behind her.

Looks like Cleveland State has figured out the voting hack that adds to the tally. Even if White beats out Arella in fan votes at the end, I don't think she is much of a threat in the other categories. Could be wrong but I think it is tough to compare mid-major to P5 competition. So, this is making it look like Davis from Tenn is most likely to win, even if Millan gets more fan votes at the end. Oh well, it has been interesting to follow.

Arella barely ahead of Mariah of Cleveland State University. It was 3.8% to 3.6% but as I write this, it has gone to 3.7% to 3.6%. I am also noticing that the webpage has slowed down significantly. I even had a time when my vote expired before it was registered (so had to check not a robot again).
Davis is ahead with 43% to Millan's 42% but that could change as we have seen over these weeks.
I think the voting ends tomorrow, so we shall see how it ends up.

I know this is shown in another thread but if you can, please click on the link and vote for Arella. One-third of the decision comes from fan voting. You can vote as often as possible.

I did not see the results posted elsewhere on the board.

Rennia Davis won. Congrats to Arella for being a finalist.
