Thanks for the info. I noticed the 2016 class was pretty goo. I follow women's soccer, but I hadn't looked at the 2017 class until recently. Wow!! We found a stud in Ali. What's great is the tristate area is a big recruiting territory for soccer and we should continue to land top talentFor those new to Women's Soccer, we are basically bringing in the equivalent of the classes Coach Stringer used to be bringing in yearly for WBB. Casey Murphy is Cappie. Nicole Whitley is Matee. Amirah Ali is Piph. Etc. Except take that and multiply it by a lot, because we have a team mostly full of freshmen and sophomores that is pretty damn good. We basically have our pick of kids in the area.

Maybe she is, but some people don't even think she has the most potential in this frosh class. They're that exciting!
Who do people think is the frosh player?
It doesnt make much sense to talk that way. Amirah gives us something RU never had. From mid field in she is capable of running by the defense and scoring on any possession.. Playing against her speed she will also draw her share of penalties. You just need to look past the times she getsstripped when head on with a defender
Ironically NNeka Moneme has shown that same type burst
Alaysia Lane scores in other ways
the mids Provenzano and Terabasso are nice players
Jezlyn Jiminez and Alexa Ferraira were hs all americans and might be 2nd and third in this group
Jamie Frank is a defender that might start in most years but the defense is loaded
I dont see anyone but amirah in that category
I don't know any better (since I'm no longer coaching girls HS soccer). I think the last D1 player I helped get into college is Longwood's starting keeper. Great kid.
I'm just repeating what I saw at one point on this board. Of course she's a great player, as shown just two or three games into her frosh year, where she's having her way on the field. I'm loving it!
Alexa is playing very well, but Nicole has upped her game from a very good last year. She is playing extremely well. Amira, from just seeing her this year, is, IMO, a game changer. Really like Gabby Provenzano. She is playing very, very well. Skilled, good speed, tough, good decisions. She started the second half against UCONN.I may have to plead guilty as the source re: alexa
Before she seriously injured her leg she was special on our national u14---- u15 national reams. So posting , upon her return, in sept 2016 i think i was the one extoling her graces. she has some unusual traits. She , at least last year, took penalty shots, set pieces and corners using both her right and left leg. i am sure she will leave here with a great past but today she is fighting incumbant Nicole Whitney for time
