I know we have certainly had some great success stories with kids just walking on, but when you talk about one at the QB position it begs the question...what can you really expect?
Although there are a lot of players who somehow get missed in the recruiting system, I find it really difficult to believe the most visible position in football would be one of them. It just doesn't seem possible. If anything, it seems like a lot of them look great in HS due to the level of competition, etc. as to the reverse. And, I am not talking about some talented kids who got offers from under Div. 1 who decided to pass them up and hope to catch on with a bigger program. This is about kids with no real portfolio.
I don't pretend to know a lot about this but welcome any educated answers if there really are some out there.
