Vegas will have us at least 20 point dogs, if not 30 point dogs. That is reality. Even as someone as optimistic as rutgersal recognizes this. Perhaps the line drops a bit.

Still glad Ross is gone. Remember Michigan State went to Rose Bowl game and their next game was against us the next year and we won. You never know.

I don't think it's a loser mentality at all. I just think people have taken off their scarlet colored glasses(myself included) and now realize what a mess Flood left Ash. They've become resigned to the fact that this isn't going to get fixed overnight and that next year will probably be as dismal as this year. Sure we may win 1 or 2 more and show some progress, but most know we're going to be in trouble again next year against the big boys. Levity simply helps ease the imminent pain.
