If you like that, check out devinsupertramp's YouTube - he has many videos with grown-up toys like that - human slingshot water slide, cliff drop slip and slide, canyon swings, urban surfing. Actually that Texas park video looks like an homage.

It has a counterweight system attached to it--the empties go in a barrel and the riders get lifted up.

Well, it's in Waco, Texas, so it's probably not as big of a problem as in it happened anywhere near, say, the GWB. :-)
