How many times do we watch these selection shows and never see our name called?
I just watched it live on NCAA.com.
Was very pumped to see we were the last at large seed announced.
At least we aren’t playing one of the top 4 seeds in the opening round.
So happy for our ladies, coach, and coaching staff. Been a LONG time coming!
We are essentially the 10 seed playing the 7 seed, UConn. #2 Maryland is playing Albany.
Only 18 make the field
10 automatic (conference champions), and 8 at large.
Looks like 2 essentially play-in games.

Only 3 conferences had an at large: B1G with 4, ACC with 3 and Ivy with 1.
Their selection show is at 5 pm today. They are comfortably in and likely will have a first round home game.
We played them pre-season & did very well. Understand that U Conn was not happy after the scrimmage. Need to take them out. Go RU!
BOOM! Congrats ladies and especially to Coach Civico Who is being bashed by a couple of posters around here as recently as two years ago with constant callings for her firing. This is a huge step for this program and it’s only going to get better!
For the first time since 1986, Rutgers field hockey has qualified for the NCAA Tournament. The Scarlet Knights will head to College Park, Maryland to face UConn at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, November 9. The winner of that game will face the winner of the First Round game between Maryland and Albany.
