Nebby with 16 points in last 50 secs of reg Do we play Nebraska regardless of the outcome of their game today?

Sometimes it takes us 10 mins to score 16. Very scarey thought.

If we lose to Nebraska, I will be very disappointed. They have Palmer, who is talented but selfish, Roby, who is skilled but fades in and out of consciousness, and Watson, whose game is usually predicated on how well his teammates are playing. The rest of the team is kind of a patchwork and their bench is abysmal. They got hot at the end of the game today and fed off their senior-day crowd against a reeling Iowa team. Yes, we need to bring it Wednesday but I can’t see us losing this game.

3 of their top 6 are out and they using walk ons to contribute major minutes..they came through somehow today vs Iowa and I assume they will be playing pretty loose coming into the game but the reality is their depth is a major issue.....I too would be disappointed in a loss, team needs to play like the Rutgers basketball team we know and not pack it in. Its a highly winnable game if RU puts forth the needed defensive effort.

For the end of this season to be a success , we need to be playing Thursday . Getting knocked out on Wednesday in the bottom feeder games is not something to be proud of and will end a promising season on a sour note . It would be same old rutgers . The opportunity is there for us to finish strong. Beat Indiana and get a bye or lose and win Wednesday Just get to Thursday and see what happens .

I agree, but for a different reason. I’ve got one son at Maryland and one who recently graduated from Wisconsin. The bracket is made for this father’s bragging rights. If RU gets by Nebraska, they get a chance for revenge against MD. Win that game and a chance for revenge against Wisconsin. A Dad can dream . . . . . .

Culture has been created and now it's like most teams in that young guys with promise have to take their games up a notch.

Fans are back in the building-----that to me is a huge component.

Playing penn state to stay out of the bottom feeder games is imporant? Imagine if we ever have to play a game to get in the NCAA tournament . That would be life altering.
But I will say it’s been a successful season because it looks like the pieces to build with are there .
