Everything Ace and Dylan do well, they did well before they got here. I don’t understand how the rest of their games / and the team have shown zero improvement. All those hours of practice..

Just zero accountability so they don’t learn from mistakes. Derkack still taking 3s despite an entire season showing it’s a terrible shot.

Yes he is failing this year for sure. That happens to a lot of people when they abandon their identity which Pike has done this year.

We’ve missed the tournament three years in a row with three teams that look wildly different. I think it’s safe to say this or gems has no identity except to say they aren’t well coached or good at basketball

I'm more concerned about the lack of hustle especially on defense in the first half. It's been a staple of this season. I understand basketball is a game of runs, but the one constant has been having no fire in the team until its too late and being forced to battle back. Same thing with a lead where we always take out foot off the pedal.

I don't know if its a function of the the staff not motivating the teams coming out of the lockeroom or during timeouts, or the incessant substitutions five minutes in?

I feel like after I posted that he became a beast lol. But on D he was not stopping the ball, leaving as guys were dribbling right towards him.
