Some gameday vids:

As I wrote in another thread, here's what I observed:
  • looks like he bases out of 11 & 12 personnel
  • lots of presnap shifting, but typically only by the TEs/FB to keep things relatively simple (like Boise State)
  • plenty of motion, but typically only from the flanker (#1) -- again, keeps things relatively simple. #1 looks like their best WR too so putting him in motion keeps him off jams and allows him to threaten reverses and shallow crosses. I can totally see Grant in that role.
  • lots of different formations, particularly with TEs on the same side of the field when close to the boundary -- again, I think this is a great idea to get all the playmakers in space to the field side
  • some nice draw plays
  • screens(!)

Here's a fantastic breakdown of the 2014 Gopher running game that I found (includes videos).

We don't really have any fullbacks and our TE play last year left a lot to be desired. He will have his work cut out for him.

If I was Kill the first thing I would look at is all the tape from our offense this past season. He should spot some things to fix right away.

You might want to take a look at Southern Illinois O, when Kill was there, I'd bet OUR offense will have more similarities with that one, than Minny's, but we'll see. We're not going to change MUCH from what was just installed, however, there will def be different "wrinkles" involved. Great excerpt here:

“I wanted a guy that had a similar offensive philosophy from we have already established, that did not want to go completely away from what we have done and what our players know. I think what he is going to be able to do is some similar things, but also enhance it and make it better and do an outstanding job of tailoring the offense to fit the skillset of the players we have; someone who can also develop our quarterbacks.”

Checkout the breakdown at the link at the bottom.

LOTS of designed QB runs out of shotgun (no FBs).

Easter Egg Alert: Our old buddy Philip Nelson makes an appearance in one of the highlights.

Our offense isn't going to look very much like that because Minnesota had different type players. That being said I would like to see the running back in the back field and toss him the ball once in a while. That gives the running back more time to see the hole open up. Also he can run towards the middle and when the defense converges to the middle go around the outside.

Extra Point: different types of players? How so? I mean Kill had better players in MN, but our rosters seem very similar to my untrained eye.

For example:
Balanced QB
Power RBs
Balanced TEs
Dominant WR is a "speed" guy

Based on Kill's comments that there will not be a lot of changes to the offense, I would not count on the return of the fullback. Washington was said to be the best TE in the team last year and I expect to see improved contributions next year.

Yeah some of these guys are barking up the wrong tree, already, they should probably start paying attention to things.

I don't care what it looks like as long as RU can move the ball, keep RU's defense off the field and score a few touchdowns against the big guys. If it can start there I'll be happy.

Two things off the top of my head that are unknowns will have a lot to do with how our offense looks next year - 1 Grant's presence or absence in the line up and 2 will we have a QB with duel threat skills. If these happen then we can have players who fit an offensive scheme. If not then Kill will have to come up with a scheme that fits the players.

1) I'd say maybe

2) Gio, Oden, Lewis

Him and Blazek should start with an emphasis on blocking people. That's the most obvious thing the film from last season will tell him.

Nuts, I don't know if either or both will or will not happen. But, it will make a big difference in Kill's job. Trying to speculate on what kind of offense he runs without knowing how these two things work out is impossible. Grant we should know about soon but the QB situation may be a long haul.
