FB Recruiting Where RFootball stands in Rivals rankings after Mascoe commitment

You are such a wilting pansy of a fan. Get a grip already. This topic has been discussed ad nauseum on these boards. First, Greg has had a high success rate with under-recruited players. Second, other than Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan State, Michigan and Northwestern, the B1G recruiting is about even with an average of 3 stars across the recruiting classes. Newsflash, genius--our peers are Maryland and Indiana in the East, and Purdue, Minnesota, Northwestern and Illinois in the West. We are not going to compete with Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan and Michigan State for recruiting top talent. Not now, and for Ohio State and Penn State, probably not ever. Accept that, and you can stop being such an eeyore on these boards.

Last year, Rutgers had six 4 star recruits. Our average rating was still 2.95. Northwestern's recruiting was near the bottom. This year, their recruiting is up. These things ebb and flow for the middling teams in the B1G. And maybe you might not be aware, but the middling teams are at a disadvantage with respect to NIL. There is no use whining about it and calling out fans who are not going to be little babies about it.

Pretty clear that Greg felt Fran was not ready to be his DC, and it deoesn't appear that a lot of other programs came call with a DC offering, while Georgia is certainly a higher profile program and there is a benefit to being in the spotlight if you want to get promoted, it was still a lateral with a few mor bucks
lateral in postion maybe prestige night and day...? joining the national champs or a team if the record is .500 its a good season?
