Which coach is on his way out next season if things don't improve ASAP?

10: safe and nothing to worry about as long as you don't do something stupid.

...
...
1: you need to find a new job...YOU'RE FIRED.

10: Pikiell-RU
Izzo-MSU
Howard-UM
McCaffery-Iowa
Gard-UW
Underwood-Illinois

9: Painter-Purdue- another season like the one Purdue just experienced could result in more heat from the AD. Purdue expects to win the B1G or, at worse, be in the top half of the league.

Turgeon-Maryland- next season will determine if the fans continue to question him and the school reacted.

Hoiberg-Nebraska- He is still in the honeymoon phase, but the last few NU ADs have a history of keeping coaches feeling uneasy about job security. Hoiberg has players he wants, and if they fall flat, the heat could be turned up quickly.

Holtmann-OSU- solid coach, but experiencing a turnover of the roster put pressure on him to stay in the top half of the league. OSU expects to win. Being competitive doesn't cut it.

5: Chambers-PSU- The roster for next year would typically place you on the hot seat or get you fired. His extension signed in 2018 may make it challenging to cut Chambers free.

Miller-Indiana- Time is running out for Miller and the excuses of the roster not being his guys and quality ones at that. The roster for next year should move him into a safe area like 7 or 8 range, but his coaching can't get in the way.

3: Collins-Northwestern- NW is always in a tough position because of academic requirements. This one reason why Collins hasn't felt a ton of heat. His roster should be improved, and he has a chance to move up into the 5 range.

2: Pitino-Minnesota- Rome is burning, and he is having trouble putting out the fire. Even the rats are jumping ship before it sinks, which will take place next year.

Haha, Hoiberg gets 5 years before anything will be said.

It's amazing how Turgeon just won a share of the B1G title and still might feel his seat get warm with one bad season.

He’s not very popular with the Maryland faithful and I think next year is a down year for the terps by their standards. I think his seat will be hot for 21/22 season.

He has been at Maryland for nine seasons and has one Sweet 16 to show for it. There are reports that the AD is not exactly Turgeon's biggest fan but I don't know if those reports are accurate.

I think Turgeon currently has three seasons left on his contract. If they have a bad season he'll either leave or be asked to & UMD will have boosters pay they buyout.

Turgeon is a good man. I really like him. I'm interested to see how things turn out between him and Maryland.
