You must remember he was allowed to build a program here he had total control, he won't be given 10 years again to build a program. If he was anywhere else besides Rutgers, he would have been fired within 4 years with his record. I am not trying to put GS down, he was the right man for the job when he was hired.

I'm not sure you are giving enough credit, to the Coach, for what he did not only for the program but for the entire University and State of NJ, as well. He did light up the Empire State Building and a lot more people now know who Rutgers is. Which is more than most of our political hacks ever tried to do. Just saying.
