Hip hop, hurray!!

Hey!!!
Ho!!!

I live in VA.
Watched on TV tonight.
Definitely going Thu night.

1) Who else is going?

2) What is the best way to get a ticket at this point (and sit with RU fans)?

3) Best place to park?

4) I assume ticket would be good for both night games, right?

Thanks!!
GO RU!!

I'll be there. - Sitting with RU fans proved to be a challenge and will be even tougher tomorrow. Just hope you end up by some by coincidence.

Scalping was very easy today, like laughably easy. It will be similar tomorrow night, but nothing wrong with getting one on stubhub under $30 either.

There are parking garages all around the Arena in Gallery Place. Will not be pleasant, but doable.

The ticket will be good for both night games - Make sure your ticket is session 3

It was an awesome time tonight!! Though I can't take off two days in a row from work on short notice, I hope people can pick up the slack and be loud and show their support.

In terms of finding somewhere to sit with RU fans, that is tricky (at least today). I heard some from the other opposite side, but I lucked out today and picked the corner where our band was at least. (Section 107. OSU band was 115. Can't guarantee everything is the same) Obviously they are supposed to be the most vocal and they made it a great time.

I paid $12.50 for each of two tickets on Wednesday. I'm sure some people probably did better.

Assuming you bought from scalpers outside the arena?
How exactly did you do that?

Was it obvious who was selling tickets?
Did you negotiate?

Did you know/care what section they were in?

Which section is closest to the RU bench?

Just looking for any tips on best way to do this.
Thanks!

There are Multiple scalpers every 10 yards all the way around the arena.

You can negotiate

Not sure where our bench is for this game

I would just ask for section 100 seats for $20 or $30 a pop and see how they react. If they don't like it, move on to the next guy.

You should take the train in - the orange (out I-66), silver (Tysons Corner), and blue (down 95 towards Springfield) drop you off about 4 blocks block away at Metro Center (or you can transfer to the red for that extra block). The yellow line (Alexandria) drops you literally right under the arena.

Its also likely to be cheaper than parking even considering paying for parking at the metro station.

You cannot miss the guys selling tickets outside the arena. I offered $20 for the two but the man said he wanted an extra $5 for the man helping him. I didn't argue as I just wanted tickets into the games. All tickets were general admission so you could sit wherever you wanted. we sat in 120 which I think is the section that many RU fans got tickets for. I say go anyway as Friday is the last day of the work week anyway. You can get by being tired one day. I drove back to NJ immediately after the game and arrived home at 1:30AM. My son had to be back for today. I wish I could have still been there as it was and should be a wonderful experience. Treasure the moment.

"Treasure the moment."
Love that!

I have changed my mind (and plans).

Screw Friday.

I am going tonight!

Just need 1 ticket, and hope to find other RU fans to sit with.
Need to rock the red! (or Scarlet)

Hope to see and meet some of you there!
(This board should wear moniker name tags!)

Sorry man, just saw this or I would have included you. Myself and another RU alum will be in 117. Row J, seats 1-2. Feel free to come by and sit with us, can't imagine neighboring seats will all be full. I was able to get mine on Stubhub for $25 each before fees and just have to pick them up at a nearby hotel.

Wait a sec, @derleider is back?

Just for fun, can you be a contrarian and say you're NOT back?
