Who is the 6-10 walk on?

Mo-town use to be good, not any more? What about Delbarton? Have they gone downhill too? I know what a great job Bags had done at Mendham.
Can't believe I forgot about Delbarton. My nephew started in the back court there with Raftery's son a while back. There is a lot of talent in Morristown but a lot of kids just don't have the grades.

I'm a coach at Chatham so I know the lay of the land in Morris County . Overall Morris County is not close to some of the other counties but the top teams can hang with a lot of others on a given year .

For instance we've beaten a bunch of good teams out of County the last few years in season and states such as Orange multiple times , Rahway , Snyder , Scotch Plains , etc . We've also been won the County back to back and been in the final 5 of the last six .

Morristown has been good the last five years and made a run in the states two years ago and Randolph has also been very good as well so every year someone else can pop up . Delbarton is getting better again after they they were down awhile and mendham has been down the last few years .
Tony Mack offered me the BB job at Chatham before the guy there now.

You may know my dad then . He coached at the township right before the merger . I've been coaching with coach Erv for the last ten years . Great coach !

I coached at Hanover Park back in the early 80's. Back then Mo-town, Mendham and Mountain Lakes were very good. Also it was right after Tony Mack retired and both Chathams were horrible.
In the states in 83' we beat Shabazz by about 25 before losing in OT to P-Burg.
P-Burg won the states Group 2 that year beating Terrence Bailey's Ewing team in the final.
In the countys we lost to Mo-town in the finals. Trivia question: Who was Mo-town's head coach?
Answer: Charlie Weiss! Yes the same Charlie Weiss!!!

I actually played at Hanover from 95-99. We had some good teams but only made the semis once . In those years parsippany par hills and mendham were all unbelievable and were all ranked in the state . I think your year coaching Hanover was the only year they made the finals .

I actually was at HP for two tears. Wendy Wear was my JV coach.
I don't remember who we played in the first round but beat Par Hills in the quarters (we beat them 3 times that year), knocked off Mendham in the semis.
They had a real good team with George Dragonetti and Mackey Pendergast before losing to Morristown. They played well and I was a very young head coach (25)as was Weiss and I didn't make some adjustments I should have.
If we had beaten them we would have been ranked in the state. Finished the season 23-6.

I seem to remember Wear as a teacher/coach in West Orange.

My first year as a varsity coach at HP in 81-82 we lost to BE in the MCT second round.
They had two good players: Everton Byfield was one but I can't remmeber the other.

A year or so before we beat St. Anthonys in the states with Byfield, Forster (great player) and Steve McGuire. SA had David Rivers. We beat them pretty bad and they didn't lose to another NJ team for about ten years.

I don't remember McGuire. Forster (first name) was the other kid I remember and we controlled him pretty well. I remember it was Byfield that killed us.
Was it Muzz Lindsey who was the coach??
