Guy was very good down low, at times unstoppable--a dominant player who made Lewis and Diallo look very bad at times. Just imagine if Thomas ( and Hanson) played for Rutgers and Lewis and Diallo for Wake Forest.....

Harrisburg, PA native -- not too far from Rutgers ... 4-year player as well. Perfect.

wait until you see Haas from Purdue next month . possible first round pick. 7'2" shooting 75% from the field through five games.

A power forward/center that can score consistently has been a rare occurrence at Rutgers.By now fans know that mediocre recruiting has been the downfall of the mens basketball program for decades.Knowing a problem exists is the easy part but solving the problem has been very difficult for every mens basketball coach.

Well ... we thought Jack might be that type of player, though from mid-range more than low post.

And before him, Inman.

And before him, Lamizana.

The problem is all those players had a desire to play on the perimeter, though each of them actually produced more when they went to the low post.

Funny, I was praising Thomas to my friend who is a big Wake bb fan. He says Thomas has many no show games when the other teams have strong backcourt Players.

I would take a guy like that in a hearbeat. He won the game for them.

If Thomas played for Rutgers we'd be undefeated at this point. He is what we need and recruiting is everything . We need EJ to get a player like him. When will it ever happen?

Your friend is right-------watched him a bunch last year and he does vanish at times.

Purdue looked very good last night and has two other huge studs (Swanigan and Hammons) down low. That's a 7'2", 7'0" and 6"9' front line...and they all can play. good grief.
and I'll bet you right now our guards will spend all game trying to take it to the rim out of control and get the ball shoved back in their face.

and that guy Thomas was completely in control the whole game.
