I don't think he is very good - too much anticipation - but apparently the folks who judge him do. Works a lot of top games. Did get into some trouble a few years back and was suspended for the postseason - but it had to do with a wrong rule interpretation, not bad behavior IIRC.
Likewise, I don't think much of Bob Trammel and Tina Napier of clockgate fame. But again, folks who control what they work seem to think highly of them.
