Women's Lacrosse Hosts Temple Thursday Night - Rutgers University Athletics
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers women's lacrosse (6-3) returns home to host Temple (2-6) on Thursday night at SHI Stadium. First draw is set for 7 p.m., with the game

I’m enjoying watching their games, and they do look improved from last year, but I’m not sure they’re an NCAA tournament team yet.RU whooped the Owls. Women's team looks like an NCAA Tourney team as of now.
No disrespect to Temple as they're a solid program more times than not, but I'm a bit surprised the team didn't want to stay out West during Spring Break and play someone like Stanford or Cal after the Oregon game. Would've been a good chance to obtain a good OOC road win for their resume.I’m enjoying watching their games, and they do look improved from last year, but I’m not sure they’re an NCAA tournament team yet.
They got whooped by #4 Yale and #12 Princeton. They did beat #16 Stony Brook in OT and lost to Army 10-9 on a goal in the final second, and they won their other games comfortably, but the competition was pretty weak.
I will say, though, that Coach Lehman has done a nice job of rebuilding the roster, as there are several first and second year players who are starring for the team right now. There’s no Taralyn Naslonski or Cassidy Spilis who will score 50+ goals, but there are EIGHT players with 10 or more goals through ten games.
The team is 7-3 (1-0), and we’re going to find out starting this week if they’re for real, as they travel to play #7 Hopkins on Sunday morning on ESPNU at 11am.
Yeah I’m really hoping she can keep this team improving as I’m partial to the women since my daughter played in collegeI’m enjoying watching their games, and they do look improved from last year, but I’m not sure they’re an NCAA tournament team yet.

I don’t think it would’ve been prudent to stay out west with the Big Ten season cranking up this Sunday. Better to get home to relax for a week and take a midweek game against a local team.No disrespect to Temple as they're a solid program more times than not, but I'm a bit surprised the team didn't want to stay out West during Spring Break and play someone like Stanford or Cal after the Oregon game.
