I believe 5 of them do.

Patrick, Ottaviano, and Pagano should count.

DelVecchio at 141 again. Some interesting decisions next year if he intends to get back in the lineup.

Cortez is supposed to be really good so that's not a bad result by DelVecchio. I suspect he's just taking a break from weight cutting as a RS and is back to 133 next year, but that's without any inside info.

is that the Cefolo from Hanover Park? He started the year at 125 at SDSU...even bigger jump for him if that is the same Cefolo

Cefolo no longer at SDSU. Just training on his own will be back on the mat next year. Most likely 133 pounds.

Didn't hear anything about him getting in trouble while out there.

33- Giraldo/Del
41- Del/AA/Giraldo
49- AA/Giraldo
57- Theo(Richie RS)

I guess it depend on what Ash does. If he goes to 149 then that breaks it up a bit and would allow Giraldo or Del to move up with the other staying at 133. Was not thinking about a RS for Lewis but that makes sense. Theo would also be moving up. Not sure Lewis has the frame for 165. Will be interesting to see if a couple of frosh are going to have start next year in the upper weights. Still not sure I see a replacement for Smith on the roster.

I think it's hard to stay at that weight you came to college with for all 4 years. Kids grow. I grew couple inches in college. I think it's best for the kids to naturally grow and perform at their most natural weight. And it sounds like Rutgers is allowing their wrestlers to naturally grow into their body.

Look at Gravina. Prime example

Del went to 141 for the tourney to wrestle that real good kid from PSU Cortez and lost 3-2. He will be back at 133 next year most likely and Ash should stay at 141. Giraldo may go to 149 as he has seen the last of 133. Theo and Richie and Dippery are all good questions.

If everyone bumps up:

125: McCabe
133: Del
141: Ash
149: Giraldo
157: Theo
165: Lewis
174: Back
184: Gravina
197: Mulligan
HWT: Correnti/???

or if they want to RS Mulligan, maybe
184: Pafumi
197: Gravina
HWT: Correnti/???

Does Gravina have a hard time making weight at 184?
I would hope he stays there for 4 years.
Lewis Red Shirt next year?
I would rather lose a few duels and have a better chance at All American for my wrestlers (See Gravina/Lewis/Correnti)

Correnti is at 220 pounds....I would hope he can get to 240 before he wrestles heavies. I know DJ Russo had success at a lower weight, but most of the monsters are at 265 or greater (With the exception of Kyle Snyder)

Good point. I forgot Lewis as 3 to wrestle 2. That makes it easier. If what I posted above happens, I think we would be undersized (under strong) at most weights.

I sure hope Theo stays at 149 and Lewis at 157. That will be one tough run from141-157.
