Janzer loses to Rogers (Hofstra) 3-2 and falls into Consos
Everyone that is ready to anoint him the next savior needs to calm down. Same with Aguilar. D1 and even college for that matter is a completely different ballgame then HS.

Let them RS, gain valuable experience, and get stronger. We have Pagano to hold down the fort until Gravina comes back. 197 is an issue. Maybe Pagano can go there after Gravna gets back but he seems small for that weight.

Wright seemed ok at 197, obviously need to see him against better competition to really judge. Correnti seems skinny like he’s cutting a lot of weight.

ESPN plus doesn't have feeds working for all the mats so had to watch Janzers match from the feed of the mat across from his. Anyway, he won with a score of 13-5 it looked like, against a kid from Purdue. Dominated the whole match

184 | Janzer: W-Dec., 7-6
197 | Correnti: W-Dec., 10-5
197 | Wright: W-Dec., 7-5

184 | Willie Scott with back-to-back wins by bonus points to move on in the consolation bracket!

Wright wins 7-3

Correnti wins 6-5 against the kid from Hofrsta who beat Wright earlier. Was up 3-1 to start the third and got taken down twice but won on riding time

Robinson loses another close one 4-3. Taken down with 20 seconds left.

Cleary loses 6-3

Willie Scott wins by pin. Up 6-0 end of 1 dominating on top. Gets put in a cradle to start the 2nd and almost gets packed but somehow gets out of it and puts kid to his back

How does Malcom Robinson look? Is he projected at 133/141 his whole career? How does he do against Cleary/MVB

Janzer wins 5-2 over Morgan from Army. Morgan was deep on a shot with like 15 seconds left but Janzer fought it off and got the takedown. Good win

Wright loses 3-2 on riding time. Got ridden out the whole 2nd period

I liked what I saw out of him. I like his style, fun to watch. Both losses were very winnable. Ran out of gas in overtime for one loss then let up a late takedown with time running out in the other. No clue about the other questions

Morgan was a NJ State medalist from West Orange HS, He went to the USMA Prep school, now at the Academy. Nice story.

125 | Nicolas Aguilar drops a tight 6-4 decision to Jonathan Tropea (Rider) in the semifinals

Aguilar tied 4-4 with 20 seconds left and the feed stops working. ESPN plus sucks. Looks like he lost 6-4 though. Anyway, Aguilar is awesome to watch and going to be very good

Princeton is looking great. We better beat them this year as next year they could be a top 5 team. Their freshman Glory and Stefanik are really good. Glory should AA this year. Also Quincy Monday (Kenny's kid) and Marshall Keller (who beat Robinson in high school) are two other good freshman. Next year they have upper classmen Kolodzik, Brucki, Agaisse, with D'Angelo and D'Arcy returning from a year with the NJRTC.They also have a couple of decent recruits including a heavyweight.

I'm surprised at how many Stanford wrestlers made the trip. Shane Griffith will be a multi year AA.

The finals are 2 Stanford heavyweights.

Scott rides out Walton(rider/bound brook) the whole 2nd and 3rd periods. Gets the takedown and wins in OT

Correnti was up 2-0 but got hurt and didn't finish. Didn't see what happened

Aguilar loses by 2 to Schroder from Purdue to take 4th. Taken down with 20 seconds left. Wrestled real tough. Last year Schroder redshirted and beat 4 ncaa qualifiers

Redshirt Aguilar. He is good. He needs a year to develop. Glory who is a frosh won the weight class. Pinned Tropea in the finals and beat Schroder 9-0. Both these kids beat Aguilar. See no reason to pull the shirts off Aguilar, Robinson, or Janzer. Of the three today, Janzer is looking the best. Robinson and Aguilar lost two bouts each they could have won. They need to get mentally tougher and more used to a 7 minute match plus OT.

I have high hopes for Janzer... he’s gonna be a stud when he gets in the lineup
