Year Four of the Steve Pikiell era begins NOW

While I/we will certainly miss Eugene the biggest hole (imo) on last years team was the lack of depth at PG. With Geo having spent a year playing the position and the addition of Young and Mulcahy that hole appears to have the potential of going away.

There are 3 players that would start at point guard ahead of Mulcahy based on prior college experience .As the season progresses Mulcahy will find his niche and clearly will get ample playing time and be a starter in future seasons .

Agreed, i was going to reply on this earlier but chose not to. Mulcahy would have to play lights out both offensively and defensively in order to start and that’s a lot of pressure on any freshman. I think it’s better in the long run to just contribute when your called upon, learn the system, don’t force things and try not to screw up... I’m sure he gets that but most freshmen want to do it all right away. Can’t blame them. He has a great staff to teach him. He’ll be fine !
