The Future is bright...Yesterday Corey Sanders + Jonathan Laurent became the first 2 #RHoops freshmen to score 20+ points in the same game

I agree, although I am still afraid how thin we are in the paint next year.Great game and even better effort from whole squad.
These guys were so gassed at the end of the game and what warriors Sanders; Laurent; Lewis; Williams and Grier are.
I was down on the team earlier in the year but EJ has done a terrific job in motivating the squad and having them apply max effort despite shortfalls in personnel etc.
I, for one, will be very much looking forward to next season and I expect us to be in the 8-10 position range in the Big 10 next year presuming no major transfers; and improvement and productivity from the group of Freeman/ Doorson / Diallo (out for season) and from the incoming players.
Best finisher on the team. Plays within himself. I don't think he even takes jumpers. Will need to get one moving forward.Laurent is going to be good.
Too bad Williams fouled out in OT1, don't recall if any RU players came off the court after he was gone. Illinois had just a little more push left in OT3.Great game and even better effort from whole squad.

Yeah a bottom feeder that beat Purdue. They are not in Rutgers or Minnesota 's 0-10 range. Hill and Dunn are 2 of the best players in the Big 10 , both highly recruited out of Simeon HS in Chicago. They also shot 30-34 from the line , 88 percent , which usually doesn't coincide with a bottom feeder !!We lost to a depleted bottom feeder at home....please don't call it historic.

Yeah that is usually what happens!! Iowa will lose 4So all of a sudden RU will.improve next year and all the other teams will take a step back?
It you do not think we have a chance to beatSo all of a sudden RU will.improve next year and all the other teams will take a step back?
oj. If you think with our full healthy roster back and no transfers, that we have no shot against Wisconsin, Iowa, Northwestern, PennState, Minnesota, Illinois, Maryland if Tremble and Stone leave for the Nba and Carter, Suloman and Layman graduate , and Michigan, then I will totally disagree. Especially at home there is a shot to win against them all. It doesn't mean we will but I believe we have a good shot.Gimmee what you're drinking
All I know is that with each succeeding year of failure Rutgers will be closing in on 30 years without one NCAA bid.It you do not think we have a chance to beat

Michigan State and Indiana reload so almost impossible to beat them. I believe Ohio State , Nebraska, and Purdue, except for Hammons leaving, have all their players back, and also will be difficult.
But to say we have no shot of winning , or taking the game to the wire is pure nonsense.

I drink some really great California wines. They improve your clarity of thoughtGimmee what you're drinking
Hey, look what team is in that same fish tank...Rutgers!
Have to disagree. We lost to a depleted bottom feeder at home....please don't call it historic.
Hits the nail on the nail. We are 6-17 and 0-10. Let's keep some perspective. We lost to a depleted bottom feeder at home....please don't call it historic.

of their seniors. Do you think without Uhtoff, Jox, and Woodbury and Gesell they would have beat Ru at home. Ru played one of their better games and competed hard and would have won if not for a Top 10 team with 2 All Big 10 players playing lights out.
It would not surprise me at all if we play them at home next year, if we do, that we can win that game or it goes to the wire.
