Best article I've read on the entire situation. College football and academics go together like oil and water.
 
Decent article and a pretty fair assessment in that he actually looked at the issue from a different perspective and wrote a well balanced article unlike the SL. He presents the other perspective of a coach making a commitment to his players for academic success though still clearly points out that Flood clearly the no tolerance policy Rutgers has in place and kind of opens the debate as to what (if any) type of contact should be allowed. Of course that's why we have the academic adviser role but one could argue that they may not have as vested an interest in a student athletes success? Make for an interesting debate.
