Come on man... the pace of the game determines total points. Rutgers has 72.

They would 80 if they could shoot better.

We can break it down per possession after looking at box score.

At least we didn't spend $20,000,000 for the players and to play pool and Jordan to relax and make a fire in the fireplace in his office when they get back to Piscataway.

Foreman is starting to play well.

The guy jumped on Williams back.... no foul called.

No excuse for that B.S,non-call, nailed the coffin

And no call on the Mack 3

Whoops, refs missed the 4-step walk on Hammons...think about those blown calls now...Guys fighting to the end-very proud of RU's effort tonight

Good fight by the team. Could we play the rest of the season on the road?

credit to RU for playing hard right to the end, unfortunately they didn't play like that when the game really mattered, still good to see that instead of the crawling into a ball curl up they did against Indiana and Iowa. Maybe Eddie needs to use this press earlier in games

Another 20 loss season. With all the talent in the NY,NJ and Philly area there is no reason that SHU and RU should not make the NCAA almost every year.

Some of that is the offense. Purdue did not play zone and Rutgers sucks against the zone.

No one wants to hear it... but, when you score you gain confidence and effort improves because you are in the game.

It is easy to fall behind by 20 when your guards play like crap. Poor shots, can't get the pass into the post, leaving your feet with no options. Daniels is improving but Mack is going the wrong way. He is pressing too much.

Would not be shocked if Foreman started over ETOU the next game. Foreman is improving and deserves the minutes.

Anyone have insight into ETOU and injuries.... specifically, his shoulder? Maybe he has been playing a little banged up.

Etou just looks frustratted. Fights for position in the post only to see the guards pass it around on the top of the key.

Frustrated....teams are keying on Mack. He is seeing a lot of double teams and attention on the perimeter.... Result: he presses to try to make something happen.

If the refs didn't fall asleep the last 5 minutes this is a game we maybe steal...

I can sum up the sentiment from some on the board..... if the team plays well, it's a fluke. If they don't play well, Jordan is a horrible coach.....lol

This game turned out to be one of the better league performances even though Rutgers still lost. One definition of a really bad team is when you score over 80 points and still lose.To their credit the team didn't give up and made a final rush to make the final score a lot closer.

agree. That press changed everything. With a couple of better calls by the refs it might have been even closer than the 6pts at one time and really gotten close.

77 possessions, which is very high...

92/77 = 1.2 points per possession is bad.

Solid effort to finish the game. It was nice to see the ball go in the basket a few times - it's been rough this year.

Foreman had nice energy & is getting more comfortable on the offensive end.

Williams gets good results when he looks to penetrate. Need to see more of that going forward.

It was nice to see us DICTATING the action, albeit for a limited time, and in a losing effort.

Foreman has some offensive skills. He has nice touch on the ball for a big man and looks like he can shoot a 12-16 footer with ease.

He just needs to play smarter, cut down the TOs , stupid fouls, and most importantly don't make up his mind to shoot as soon as he gets the ball, which I think he does a lot. That old cliche' he needs to have the game come to him.

Seemed obvious that the Big10 refs weren't about to let a last place conference team upset a tourney bubble conference team. Terrible officiating in last 5-7 minutes of the game, Jim Burr-esque.

I'll look forward to B1G refs helping RU out in the same way, some day....
