It's been an absolute home run for the big ten, Rutgers agreed to not be a full revenue member for over ten years, added a huge footprint for tv subscribers and Rutgers has been so bad at football they haven't caused any problems for the top teams, it's really been an absolute home run for the conference so far.
If you have a bone to pick with the big ten come after them for adding Nebraska that was a dumb move.
Acc adding pretty much everyone they added, sec taking mizzou, big ten Nebraska, pac12 grabbing colorado, big 12 grabbing Houston were all way worse moves;
Rutgers may actually be the best move of expansion outside of the big ten grabbing usc and ucla.
