At Rutgers, Athan Kaliakmanis gets fresh start near family roots. Will he solve RU’s QB conundrum?

Our Injury situation

I’m going with GS’s press conference came at a moment in time where all the summer workouts and extremely vigorous/body taxing pre season camp crashed.
These kids are young and pushed to the limit, the time off GS gave them, plus the adrenaline of a non contact prep week is going to work wonders for the injured and possibly limited he was referring to.

Obviously MT is a sad story, his tremendous faith is incredibly inspiring to me.

OT: Big Heatwave/EDIT: Debbie passes well to west but band of showers and squall line and tornado watch to get thru

Most of the state hasnt even hit 90 once yet despite an overall warmer than normal regime in May and the first half of June. Many of you will not realize how big the jump in temperature will wear on you after days and days of prolonged heat. There is still a question of where the hottest weather will be centered...its expected to possible be north of here in upstate NY and NE. NYC and eastern locations may not see the core of the heat and be more so in the low 90s. Mt Holly going very bullish with the high temps this week and they could be leaning into the dry conditions which only enhances our potential. Lawns already starting to dry out will turn to toasty browns and yellows by the weekend

OT: Anchor Brewing ceases production.

Anchor Brewing, the makers of Anchor Steam and other beers and spirits, has ceased all activities and is closing its doors.

Historic Anchor Brewing Co. is closing after 127 years, with beer sales in decline

A damn shame, it appears that their acquisition in 2017 and the subsequent unionization in 2020 were contributing factors to this.

I did not realize they were the original distillers of Old Potrero - I've always wanted to get a bottle of that. I wonder if that's now a separate entity which will continue on.

Sports Trips - Ole Miss @ LSU

Every year my brother and I get together to do a multi-game sports weekend. We were doing it before the pandemic and restarted the last 2 years. We usually try to target a city area where we can go to a NCAAFB game, an NFL Game, and possibly a MLB, NHL, NBA or NCAABB game. This year we selected New Orleans/Baton Rouge...fly in Friday, catch Ole Miss @ LSU game in Baton Rouge, then Buccs @ Saints, then fly home on Monday. I already have the Ole Miss @ LSU tix, but need to get parking. Anyone know which Football message board is best for LSU....I want to inquire with their fan base on what it's like to park somewhere near Tiger Stadium and/or try to get a parking pass from an alumni (given we're neutral for the game).

We're also going to the RU @ Va Tech game this year. One RU away game per year...in addition to the Sports Weekend....although sometimes the sports weekend centers around an RU game as well. First year at Michigan we went to that game and then caught a Red Wings game in Detroit.

Last year we went to Clemson game, Carolina Panthers game, UNC Basketball opening day game, and a Carolina Hurricanes game on a Friday to Wednesday, long weekend. Other trips were to Houston to see Astros, drove up to Dallas to see Texas Rangers (last day of season), then Cowboys game

What are the odds on this?

Once again,my friend has won second prize in the Touchdown Club raffle for season tickets. He won it the last time in 2014.
Since we gave up our season tickets after 47 years last year,we need parking for the night games. For the day games,we can train it from Newark to New Brunswick but we'd like to avoid Penn Station at night.
I heard that the Audi Club has a new name.
Free food once again and no weather considerations(the latter being the reason for giving up our tickets)
My friend shouldn't pay too income tax on the value of the tickets.
His tax man is a regular David Blaine.

So now I'll be back for one more go around.
