Shore traffic heading north very early yesterday as the wind and air temperature was extremely cold. We have season passes to Avon and have been there 3 times so far and twice the air was very cold as was the water. I read somewhere where this air temp has been colder than normal coming off the ocean this time of the season, either way, we're packed and ready to give it another try, lol.

Some notable things mentioned

1) having a competent passing game will be enormously beneficial for Kyle to have more space to run.

I know some people have a belief that gavins running ability helped kyle but thats not true. Having a qb who can hit open receivers causes defenses to not load up the box and by virtue opens up the run game more.

2) RU/OSU was the most physical game he saw last year. Implied RU really could have won but gavin missed some TD’s and couldnt hit open receivers

3) Thinks RU has a true identity whereas alot of teams on our schedule are still kinda figuring out who they are.

4) says he could see a double digit win season. Doesnt know if its likely but theres definitely a chance.

5) Think we’ll learn alot about the program 10/26 @ USC.

I did some quick looking around and haven't seen this question posed, so I'm sorry if I'm behind.

It doesn't look like any player jerseys are available for purchase from the NIL store. Every single player I've checked says it is on back order and gives no estimate for when the jersey would show up. I was a little disappointed with the quality of the jersey I bought last year (these stenciled numbers started peeling off after two washes), but still want to buy a new jersey every year to support the players.

Does anyone know when they will start selling for the season? With it coming up in less than a month I would have hoped that they would be ready to receive and process orders.

Former Michigan football head coach Jim Harbaugh has been punished by the NCAA with a four-year show-cause order and a one-year suspension for violating head-coach responsibility obligations, “unethical conduct” and a failure to promote “an atmosphere of compliance” for his role in an investigation into impermissible recruiting in 2021 during a COVID-19 dead period.
The NCAA released its final 52-page public decision from the Division I Committee on Infractions on Wednesday and said Harbaugh failed to “meet his responsibility to cooperate with the investigation.” The show-cause order is from Aug. 7, 2024, through Aug. 6, 2028, and if hired during the show-cause order, Harbaugh would be suspended for 100% of the first season of employment.

Switched jobs back in June, put in to transfer my work 401k from Vanguard (who held it while i was employed at the old place) to Morgan Stanley (where my Rollover 401k from previous employers is).

Dates
7/15 = Put in transfer request online
7/26 = Followed up w/Vanguard, they said to call former employer as they hadn't approved it yet - called them, they said they just approved it and it was all set
8/6 = Followed back up w/Vanugard, they said former employer still hadn't approved it
8/6 = Called former employer, they said they just approved it, and another person had to do it, hence the delay

*** Just spoke with Vanguard, I lost 16k b/c my former employer sat on it instead of approving things when I requested it. Not for a day, but for 3 weeks. Is there any recourse here to recoup the money? Small claims court, lawyer, etc.

For anyone interested in AI art and they have a gaming capable PC (big honking video card).. I have been playing with Stable Diffusion (which is an AI that runs on your local PC, though you can run it in shared servers like Google Colab) for some time now and have recent need to generate a paterned background and have been astounded by its abilities. I know there a lot of virtual GF and NSFW stuff and especially Anime stuff going on out there.. maybe because there's few billion more chinese men than women... but I have bene toying with "photoshop" type editing using it.

I called on @DirtyRU for this because I have noticed his excelelent use of varisu fills and effects in his Rutgers art here. some quick examples.. each took about 20 seconds to generate once I got the prompt doing more what I wanted..

There are "free" online sources where you use their servers.. but, more and more, you need to subscribe to them to get anything done.. and, certainly, on a free plan I would never have gotten to this point with this prompt while generating only 10-20 images a day for free.)
