Really like Rutgers and Ohio State. Home courts are huge and they are 2 of the toughest 3 in conference. Toughness matters. Especially on D. Maryland and Purdue need to be ablaze from 3 to get w's. On another note,let's all remember Tom Young tonight. He was a top flight Maryland player,along with Gene Shue. And Lefty was his greatest recruiting nemesis while at Rutgers.

Loyer dissing McConnell after he made his 3 with 29 seconds left.

Anyone else catch this, as he was heading to the Purdue bench with a two-point lead he got very cocky and as McConnell passed him he shouted 2 very in your face words at Caleb. If the shoe was on the other foot I'd probably do the same but I thought it was noteworthy and ultimately Caleb got the last laugh

The Athletic, if you can get to it, I think it's behind a pay wall (that I pay for), has Rutgers as number 11 in its power rankings.

A lot of good praise for the team, the attitude and intensity. It sounds like the writer was truly impressed.

And the best thing, no left handed comments and hidden insults. Just seems like actual respect.

If your going to mention Paul’s absence from the Temple game, how do you not note Caleb’s absence too when one single player in the game (Battle) went off for a monster game? Yes - I get the whole “injuries are part of the game” narrative. That said, there’s only one team that has scored 70+ points on RU to date. Guess which one? Temple - yes TEMPLE. That is not a coincidence.
